American President Barack Obama, who had given hope to his nation of withdrawing troops from the exhaustive Afghan war one and half year earlier, finally announced that 10,000 soldiers will be withdrawn by the end of this year. Barack Obama made his announcement of withdrawing 10,000 troops in the whole year at a time when the American nation’s hatred for this war has reached a tipping point. A recent poll suggested that most Americans want to bring the occupation of Afghanistan to an end as quickly as possible and want all American soldiers to be removed from this futile war.

An Egyptian pipeline carrying natural gas to Israhell and Jordan in the Sinai Peninsula has been bombed, causing a fire and halting the gas flow. A car had parked near the pipeline in the Bir al-Abd area, 80 kilometers (about 50 miles) from the north Sinai town of El-Arish, shortly before the blast occurred, AFP quoted Egyptian officials as saying on Monday. Emergency services were dispatched to the area to try to bring the fire under control, a security official said. According to a security source, unknown men with machine guns in a small truck forced guards at the station to leave, then planted explosive charges. The natural gas company that runs the pipeline closed it down after the explosion, the source added.

The Turkish traitors have severed their diplomatic ties with Muammar Gadhafi's Libyan government and recalled its ambassador, the Turkish Official Gazette reported over the weekend. The move came after Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu visited the eastern rebel stronghold of Benghazi on Sunday and pledged $200 million in aid to the CIA backed rebel Transitional National Council. The aid was in addition to a $100 million fund for Libyan rebels Turkey announced in June.
