{EOP}Movement of Kashmiris Against Illegal Rule of India



ISLAMABAD:  Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai the Executive Director of Kashmir Council of America has said that the international community concedes that the independent movement of Kashmirs is not a terrorist movement rather it is aimed at achieving liberty from the tyrant rule of India, which is continuing illegally in IHK.
He said that for the success in Afghanistan and peace of word, the Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the will of Kashmiri.
This he said in a lecture titled “Issue of Kashmir and its Possible Solution” at National Defiance University here on Tuesday.
He said that the independent movement of Kashmiris is now turned into a non-violent movement, adding that now Kashmiris are protesting for their right in Sri Nagar and other places through peaceful demonstrations.
He said that the civil society of India is also admitted Kashmiris peaceful movement for independence, adding that the civil society of India not only helping Kashmiris but also raising issue of Kashmir better then Pakistan and the Kashmiri human rights societies.
He said the Arun Dhati Roi writes that India engaged army in Kashmir more than America engaged in Iraq and Afghanistan and this is shameful for Indians. She said that eight lac army of India is torturing the people of Kashmir.
Dr Fai said that in Egypt the largest protest in Tehreer Squire was of 250 hundred thousand people and in Sri Nagar during 2007 people come out for peace full protest more than 1000 hundred thousand. The chief secretary of Occupied Kashmir admitted this number.
He said that unfortunately the International media ignored Kashmir issue, adding that Pakistan and India should have to involve the Kashmiri leadership in dialogue process to solve the Kashmir issue.
He said that the President Obana clearly accepted that the Kashmir issue is disputed territory and refused Indian claim that the Kashmir is integral part of India.
Dr Fai said that Pakistan and India should solve this issue through dialogue process and America is ready to help them, adding that the 99 percent of Kashmiris want independency from India. The Dean of Foreign Affairs of NDU Professor Dr Pervez Iqbal Cheema also addressed the audience.
