[EOB] 52 Pakistani civilians butchered in 4 drone attacks


As many as 52 innocent Pakistani civilians in the name of “suspected militants” were butchered and dozens others sustained serious injuries in 4 back to back USZ terrorist attacks against the country through its cowardly unmanned predator drones in South and North Waziristan,officials said on Tuesday.

The latest strikes by the cowardly unmanned USZ drones targeting different localities in both the tribal agencies were carried out in less than 24 hours. Both North and South Waziristan Agencies have been under the drone attacks for the last several years, killing thousands of innocent civilians mainly including women and children. In the first attack, a USZ drone fired three missiles at a house in Dremala village in South Waziristan early on Tuesday morning, killing at least eight civilians. However, it has also been reported that the number of casualties later rose to 13. The targeted house was completely devastated. Dremala village is located close to the border with North Waziristan.

In the second drone strike, a house at Dar-i-Nishtar Shawal area of North Waziristan Agency was targeted early in the morning. At least 10 Pakistani civilians were butchered, while the house was destroyed completely. Sources confirmed the number of casualties and feared that it could rise. In the third USZ missile strike, at least six civilians were killed in North Waziristan. The strike took place in New Adda area, 35 kilometres west of Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan.

In the fourth attack which was carried out late Monday by the USZ spy plane, several missiles were fired at a house and a vehicle in Gorvak village in North Waziristan killing some 23 innocent civilians including women and children. Gorvak village is located close to Afghan border. Sources said USZ drones continued to hover above both the agencies, creating panic among the residents.
