Pakistanis Mark Global Quds Day, Protest in Karachi against The United States and Israel


Thousands of Pakistanis have marked the international Quds Day across Pakistan to show their solidarity with Palestinians.The Quds Day rallies were held in major Pakistani cities, including Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar, Lahore and Quetta among others, a Press TV correspondent reported on Friday.The demonstrators carried banners and placards reading, “Struggle will continue until the liberation of Palestine,” and shouted anti-Israeli slogans. 
They also called for the expansion of unity among Muslim nations against the Israeli regime. 

Muslims all across the world take part in the International Quds Day rallies on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan to voice their support for the Palestinian struggle against the Israeli occupation.Demonstrations were also organized in France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, and Switzerland. 
The late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini declared the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan as the International Day of Quds in August 1979, calling for international rallies to express rage against the Palestinian predicament and raise public awareness about the roots and nature of the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
