RAW's handpicked traitor Rahat Fateh Ali Khan arrested with USZ $1,24,000

This clearly indicates who is funding this fraudulent so called "Aman" movement. He was detained on airport because according to Indian law, one cannot take more then USZ $5000 with him. The traitor Rahat said he was oblivious of this law. Matter is being investigated and Pakistani diplomats are also trying to help Rahat. Likely out come is deporting  of Rahat from India.

Egypt's military dissolves parliament, suspends constitution

According to the latest reports coming from Cairo, Egypt's military has dissolved parliament and will run the country for six months or until elections are held, it said in a statement Sunday, two days after Israhelli Snake Hosni Mubarak resigned. It is suspending the constitution and will appoint a committee to propose changes to it, the statement said, adding that the public will then get to vote on the amended constitution.

The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces can issue new laws during the transition period, according to the statement on state television. The government is now reporting to the military high command in the same way it reported to Mubarak before he stepped down, the prime minister confirmed shortly before the military statement was read. The restoration of security and normal life is the government's priority, Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq said, as troops began trying to clear protesters from Tahrir Sqaure, the spiritual heart of the 18-day uprising that toppled Mubarak after 30 years. That could take time, Shafiq acknowledged in his first comments to the press since Mubarak stepped down. "The feeling of the lack of security which started when the situation began has to end", he said. "It will end gradually, but not as fast as we want." On the other hand, tens of thousands of protesters have refused to go back home from Liberation Square until their demands are instantly fulfilled without any further delay.

{EOP}No Drone Strike Haunt Pakistan Since Davis Arrest....

 {EOP} Exclusive Report..........

Whether it is a deliberate US policy or a mere pleasant coincidence but not a single drone attack has hit the country since January 27, when the American killer Raymond Davis was arrested in Lahore after he killed two young men.

The last attack was carried out on January 23 and so far over 2,000 people have been killed in such attacks since 2004

The American Embassy spokesperson, Courtney Beale when contacted said that the embassy does not speak on security issues therefore she did not have any comment on the drone attacks’ stoppage after the Davis issue.

The Conflict Monitoring Centre, an independent research centre which monitors the drone attacks, confirmed that there have been no drone attacks since Raymond Davis was arrested. According to the CMC report there were 11 drone attacks reported during January 2011, killing 49 people. At least 10 people were also wounded in these attacks. All the drone attacks were carried out in North Waziristan Agency of the Fata. No significant militant casualty was reported during the month.

January had otherwise been a busy month for the drones as five attacks were carried out. The New Years day was the deadliest as the dawn of 2011 brought death for 19 people while ten people sustained injuries. The attack targeted a house while the second struck the rescue workers on the spot. Two other drone attacks separately hit two vehicles in the area.

January 23 was the second deadliest day of the month when 13 people were killed in three different drone attacks. In the first and second strike, a drone hit a vehicle and a motorcycle, respectively. In another strike, an alleged militant compound and a vehicle were targeted.

NOTE:

The US media have been uncritically quoting the State Department as saying that Pakistan is “violating” the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 1963 by holding Davis in jail on murder charges. Those reporters should check the actual document.

Section II, Article 41 of the treaty, in its first paragraph regarding the “Personal inviolability of consular officers,” states:

“Consular officers shall not be liable to arrest or detention pending trial, except in the case of a grave crime and pursuant to a decision by the competent judicial authority.”

In other words, the prosecutorial, police and judicial authorities in Lahore and the state of Punjab are doing exactly what they are supposed to do in holding Davis on murder charges, pending a judicial determination concerning whether or not he can properly claim diplomatic immunity.

Davis has so far not said why he was driving, heavily armed, without anyone else in his vehicle, in a private rental car in a business section of Lahore where foreign embassy staff would not normally be seen. He is reportedly remaining silent and is leaving all statements to the US Embassy.

{EOP}Zardari Wants Raymond Davis Freed

by Ahmed Noorani
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has asked the Foreign Office in categorical terms that Raymond Davis should be given diplomatic immunity and for this purpose the Foreign Office should immediately issue a backdated letter notifying Raymond as ‘member of staff in US embassy, Islamabad’, top Foreign Office officials confirmed to The News.

After taking lengthy briefings and having some decisive meetings with US officials, the Presidency has told the Foreign Ministry in categorical words that for granting diplomatic immunity to Raymond Davis, all preparations should be finalized immediately.
But while the Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit maintained a very cool “No comment” on the subject, the Presidency stonewalled all requests for a version and the outspoken and unofficial spokesperson of President Zardari Senator Faisal Raza Abidi said he would not say anything but the Foreign Office should be asked to comment. So the ball was thrown back to the “No Comments” of the FO.
Sources close to Presidency, however, rejected the report. They said detractors of President Zardari are behind this baseless allegation. They said the Presidency can never ask Foreign Office to do anything illegal.
Privately senior FO officials are ready to share many details. “It was clarified to the president that as per record of the Foreign Office, Raymond Davis was a member of ‘consular staff in US Consulate in Lahore’ so in accordance with Vienna Convention on Consular Relations 1963, he did not enjoy absolute immunity especially in the case of a grave crime and that now according to article 41(1) of the same convention of 1963 only superior court could decide the issue of immunity of Raymond Davis,” a top Foreign Office source told this scribe.
“The president, who has taken briefings from US side as well, has advised us to issue a backdated letter showing Raymond Davis as ‘member of the staff of US embassy in Islamabad’ so that 1963 Vienna Convention could not apply on him and as member of the US embassy-Islamabad he may fall in the domain of Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations 1961 and thus could claim immunity from criminal jurisdiction,” the FO official said.
The official explained that under Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations 1961, all the diplomatic and non-diplomatic (administrative and technical) staff appointed in an embassy enjoys immunity from criminal jurisdiction whereas under Vienna Convention on Consular Relations 1963, the consular staff appointed in consular posts or consulates in cities other than capitals of the host states didn’t have immunity from criminal jurisdiction especially in cases of grave crimes.
The FO official confirmed to The News that as per record of the Foreign Office on the day of incident of killing of three Pakistanis in Lahore, Raymond was a member of consular staff in US consulate. The sources said that Raymond also spent some time in Islamabad and Peshawar but was later appointed as member of technical staff in US Consulate in Lahore.
The official disclosed that US embassy in Pakistan has requested The Foreign Office to include the name of Raymond Davis in the list of diplomats, a request which was ignored. The top official further revealed that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made the same request to former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on phone which was also softly refused by giving the excuse that now the issue was in court.
The official said the status of Raymond Davis that he was a “member of the consular staff in US Consulate Lahore” was clear to all and he himself after being arrested told the Lahore police and all investigators who had encounters with him that he was appointed as technical consultant in US Consulate Lahore.
“On the day of incident, the US Consulate came on record and stated on media that Raymond was member of consular staff at US Consulate Lahore,” the top Foreign Office official said adding “Neither Raymond’s name was in the list of the diplomats maintained at Foreign Office and updated regularly nor he was ever issued a mandatory diplomatic card by the Foreign Office which is a must for claiming immunity not only in Pakistan but also in USA,” the senior official added.
In privately taped footage inside the police station, released to Geo TV on Friday, Raymond himself admits very clearly that he was a ‘consultant’ at the Lahore Consulate.
A FO source said it was only on the third day of the incident that after becoming aware that there were no chances of saving Raymond in double murder case, US embassy in Islamabad issued press release claiming Raymond as member of the US embassy which was a baseless thing.
The Foreign Office official showed this scribe official documents of US Department of State instructing members of US law enforcement agencies and US judiciary to not to grant immunity to any person, claimed to be diplomat, until he didn’t possess a special card issued by the department of state.
He said as per article 10(1) of the even 1961 convention, the notification of Foreign Office accrediting a person as diplomat or enjoying any level of immunity is a must. The official maintained that in no way any such inclusion in the list of accredited diplomats could be made retrospectively nor could Raymond be issued a card now which could certify his immunity.
“On the other hand we have received strict orders to issue a back-dated letter showing Raymond as member of US embassy, Islamabad,” the official said adding, “As the issue was in court and courts are analysing each and every aspect of all documents, no one in Foreign Office is ready to accept this big challenge.”
He said even the outgoing foreign minister has hinted that this backdated letter containing admission of Foreign Office having record of Raymond’s appointment in USA embassy will have to be made and produced before the courts as it was an order.
Spokesman of the presidency Farhatullah Babar neither took the call nor replied to The News sent the questions through messages. He was asked simply to verify or deny the latest presidency’s pressure on Foreign Office to issue a backdated letter showing Raymond as member of the US embassy in Islamabad, but he never responded.
However, advisor to the President Zardari, Faisal Raza Abidi when asked this question by The News said that only Foreign Office will speak on this issue.
On the other hand spokesperson of US embassy Courtney Beale, when approached by The News replied as follows: “It is wrong information that US embassy approached Foreign Office of Pakistan to get registered name of the Raymond Davis in list of accredited diplomats. In fact US embassy Islamabad had notified to Foreign Office back in January 2010 that Raymond Davis has arrived in Pakistan and he will serve as member of technical staff in USA Embassy Islamabad. Raymond was later temporarily sent to Lahore.”
Foreign Office officials however deny having any such information and say according to record and information available with it, Raymond was working as member of consular staff in US Consulate Lahore.
A senior FO official gave the example of US Foreign Service officer Sabrina de Sousa, who was appointed in US embassy in Rome, Italy in 1999. “De Sousa was later deputed in US consulate in Milan, Italy in 2001 and was found allegedly involved in an incident of extraordinary rendition (kidnapping) in 2003. She left Italy in 2004 and her involvement in the kidnapping incident was investigated later. Though she was sent and appointed in US embassy in Rome but at the time of incident she was deputed at US consulate in Milan thus US didn’t plead for her immunity as a diplomat as she was representing the US consulate in Milan. It was a consular office and had no immunity in grave crimes like kidnapping,” the official said.
According to De Sousa’s media statements, she was unable to move outside USA as she will be arrested by EUROPOL as she will land on any European airport.
Courtney Beale, however, said that she was unaware of the incident of De Sousa and will respond to The News soon as to why USA did not demand immunity for her from Italy on charges of kidnapping despite the fact she also was appointed in US embassy in Rome.

{EOP}Raymond Davis Case: JuD locations found marked on Davis’ GPS device

PKKH Breaking News Exclusive | Dan Qayyum
LAHORE – Pakistani authorities are investigating whether Jama’at-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Mohammad Saeed was an intended assassination target for the US contractor Raymond Davis, arrested in Lahore recently after shooting dead two Pakistani citizens in broad daylight.

Davis, presently in custody of Pakistani authorities, is reported to be part of a larger network of a US ‘Special Activities Division’ that works as part of the US Central Intelligence Agency’s National Clandestine Service. This unit operates without apparent national identification and carries out highly sensitive tasks including surveillance of important targets, assembling and operating assassination squads as well as taking part in assassinations of high value targets. Recent releases of classified documents by Wikileaks and Bob Woodward’s book ‘Obama’s Wars’ also strongly indicate the presence of highly trained US operatives on specific assassination assignments in Pakistan.
‘We’re still investigating but it increasingly appears that he (Davis) was not alone but part of a ‘death squad’ which had been assigned specific tasks. Its a slow process but he’s definitely talking’, said an official on condition of anonymity.
The shooting incident took place close to Chowbarji chowk and the famous Anarkali Bazar – located at 31°32′55N 74°18′54E. Chowbarji is the intersection where Qadsia Masjid, which often serves as JuD’s regional office, is located.
Items confiscated at the time of Raymond Davis’ arrest include a highly sophisticated model of Garmin GPS navigation tool – same as the ones being used in Afghanistan by US forces to mark and communicate locations and routes. Among the pre-marked targets saved on this GPS device were the Qadsia Masjid in Lahore, JuD’s headquarters in Muridke, Sialkot Cantonment, as well as a number of other civilian and military locations in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A Pakistani TV channel yesterday broadcasted photographs that were taken from Davis’ camera, which included photos of sensitive areas and defence installations. Photos of the strategic “Qila Bilahisar”, the headquarters of the paramilitary Frontier Corps in Peshawar, and Pakistan Army bunkers on the eastern border with India were found in the camera.
Also confiscated at the time of arrest was Davis’ satellite phone on which he is said to have been in direct communication from contacts outside Pakistan. These phones are usually safe for classified communication as they cannot be intercepted locally.
Hafiz Mohammad Saeed is the founder of Jama’at-ud-Dawa – a Pakistani charity blamed by India for carrying out the November 2008 Mumbai attacks. Saeed has denied having anything to do with the attacks. On October 12  2009, the Lahore High Court quashed all cases on the grounds of lack of evidence against Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and set him free.

One thing that NO ONE mentioned about this image. This Petrol station of PSO is opposite to the main enterance of the Masjid, hardly 20 ft.

Gunshots heard near Egypt Ministry - Protesters refuse to go home until demands are met

Gunshots have been heard near Egypt's Interior Ministry as post-Mubarak protests turn violent on the second day after the USZ-backed tyrant's resignation. Several gunshots were heard on Sunday as thousands of demonstrators refused to leave the streets in the capital city Cairo. Earlier reports said the Egyptian army beat protesters that refused to leave Cairo's Liberation Square, trying to disperse the stream of the masses. Thousands of protesters chanting "revolution revolution until victory", streamed back to Liberation Square in the early hours of Sunday. They vowed to remain on the major square until their demands were met.

Protesters warned of holding further rallies if the military fails to fulfill its promise of a peaceful transition of power to a genuine civilian system. Activists have demanded the release of political prisoners, the lifting of a 30-year-old state of emergency and the disbandment of military courts. They say demonstrations will continue until the army accepts the reforms. Meanwhile, the military caretaker government is scheduled to meet for the first time after Mubarak's ouster.

{EOP}Talks between USZ, Pakistan and Afghan puppets postponed

The United States of Zionism appears to have begun retaliatory steps in a bid to secure the release of a jailed American criminal accused of double murder when it postponed a scheduled high-level meeting among USZ, Afghan and Pakistani officials this month. The step is being viewed against the backdrop of the diplomatic rift over the case of Raymond Davis, a USZ consular employee who shot dead two Pakistanis last month in what he claimed was an attempted robbery. But the State Department spokesman PJ Crowley cited Pakistan’s cabinet reshuffle as one of the reasons for putting off the meeting. He said the decision to scrap the February 23-24 meeting had been taken “in light of political changes in Pakistan and after discussions with Afghan and Pakistani officials in Washington.” Puppet Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday dropped Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the cabinet shake-up who gave a statement today that Davis is no diplomat.

The cold blooded killer American "diplomat" Raymond Davis

“We remain committed to a robust engagement between Afghanistan, Pakistan and the United States as we share many issues of mutual concern and benefit from being at the same table”, Crowley said in a statement, adding the United States of Zionism hoped to reschedule the meeting “at the earliest opportunity”. Maqbool Malik from Islamabad adds:Breaking its weeks-long silence over the Raymond Davis row, the Foreign Office Saturday made it clear that no USZ pressure would be accepted to release the American national held for killing two Pakistanis. “The USZ’s efforts to pressurise Islamabad will be 'counterproductive'”, Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir warned while talking to a group diplomatic correspondents. He said, “Had I been in Davis situation, ethically I would not have sought immunity.”

{EOP}The Truth Behind Samjhauta Tragedy

By Naeem Tahir
The Samjhauta Express train of February 18, 2007 was to go on its journey of friendship just one day before the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan were to continue their dialogue in India to further the process of normalisation. From the point of view of the Hindutva terrorists, this was the appropriate time to act

A Muslim boy injured in the Hindu Terrorists Attack on Samjhauta Express

The Samjhauta Express started from Delhi’s historic railway station on the night of February 18, 2007. It was brimming with people who had a reason to go to Pakistan. Some were returning after visiting relatives, some had come for marriages, some went sightseeing, some visited ancestral homes, some explored business opportunities and some had visited shrines. There was happiness, nostalgia, devotion and business interest. The journey from Delhi to Lahore is no ordinary journey — there are emotions attached to it. The Samjhauta Express is no ordinary train either. It is the symbol of the ambivalent attitude of the people of two countries that keep playing ‘hot’ and ‘cold’ with each other. Relations turn good or bad because of vested interests. Some political parties, particularly Hindutva supporters, are not interested in peace between the two countries. The Hindutva sentiments are in line with the extreme right in Pakistan and those possessing the Taliban mindset. Both draw their strength from hate and fear and propagate these to keep their vote bank intact. The Hindutva wants a religious Hindu identity for India — one caste and one religion instead of a secular identity. Any effort for good relations with Pakistan is not acceptable because they want a larger India. The talks aimed at normalising relations between India and Pakistan in 2007 were against the Hindutva theme and needed to be stopped. Hence the plan to sabotage the very symbol of friendship and accord, the train called Samjhauta.
The Samjhauta Express train of February 18, 2007 was to go on its journey of friendship just one day before the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan were to continue their dialogue in India to further the process of normalisation. From the point of view of the Hindutva terrorists, this was the appropriate time to act. They planned to blow up the train and blow up the talks with it. But the sabotage had to be planned shrewdly and cleverly to hide the real face of the saboteurs.
Bombs were planted — packed in passenger suitcases — and the ‘operators’ left the train near Panipat. The bombs exploded soon after their departure. This could have been done by a timing device or remote controlled action. The bombs exploded in two bogies and an inferno of fire burnt 70 passengers alive. They could not jump out as the doors had been locked to meet immigration requirements. The passengers in bogies number 10 and 11 were reduced to mere ashes. The unfortunate victims included children, men, women, the young and the old — all Muslims. Five or six Hindus or Sikhs also perished. Among the survivors were a husband and wife whose five children were burnt alive. The terrorists celebrated their success. The talks of friendship received a setback but later the two governments showed remarkable determination to continue their parleys.
Hindutva associates in the Sangh Parivar, having immense clout in the media and Indian government, flashed the news worldwide that the act of terror had been committed by two Muslims, namely Ghulam Rasul Kashmiri and Azmat Ali, with the support of Pakistani terrorists. The headlines were seen by millions in India and elsewhere along with the ‘finding’ that the attack appeared to be the handiwork of “Islamic terrorists” from Pakistan. Many believed this because terrorism has been associated with Pakistan since 9/11.
This could have been the end of the story, but it was not to be. The Haryana police, in whose jurisdiction the terror attack had occurred, responded urgently and tried to follow the ‘leads’ provided by the Hindutva set up. The Haryana police looked for Azmat Ali at his address. They reached his house only to be ridiculed and snubbed by the inmates because Azmat Ali had been dead for the last five years! They searched for Ghulam Rasul Kashmiri and found out that he had already been jailed for over a month for travelling without a ticket! The Hindutva/Sangh Parivar story collapsed. The Haryana police then traced the explosives because they found some unexploded suitcases on the train. The analysis of the explosives found that they contained material used by the Indian Army in Kashmir. The Haryana police started getting closer to the truth. The truth could have blown up the whole façade and Hindutva’s terrorist plans would have come to light, so something had to be done. The long arm of the Hindutva groups activated their supporters in the Indian intelligence and army and ordered the investigation to be taken away from the Haryana police. It was dumped for some time and they thought that they could live happily ever after.
This was not to be. Tired of inconclusive and suspicious investigations of these acts of terror, the Indian media started to raise its voice so much so that finally it was heard. The Indian government decided to appoint a distinguished, impartial and courageous officer as the chief of the Anti Terror Squad in Maharashtra, Mr Hemant Karkare. Karkare and his team started to study all the cases of terror that had taken place in the recent past in India. They looked at the Haryana police record, which pointed towards some Hindutva groups and, soon, evidence was provided by the explosions at the Malegaon mosque on the 27th of Ramzan in 2008. The bombs, in this case, were planted on the motorcycle used by Pragya Singh Sadvi, an activist of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP).
Hemant Karkare’s discoveries were shocking for the Saffron Brigade, Hindutva believers and the Sangh Parivar. Politicians, army men, business tycoons as well as the religious swamis all faced exposure. The survival of Karkare and his team meant disaster for these people; his death could be their saviour. So Karkare got killed during the Mumbai carnage. But he had previously filed his case in court. By now, the Indian government has verified that the Samjhauta tragedy was the handiwork of Indian terrorists. Swami Asimanand, one of the accused, has spilled the beans. The names of Colonel Srikant Purohit and others have come to be known. Some facts of the Samjhauta tragedy are now public knowledge.
Sooner or later, the facts behind the Mumbai terror attacks and Karkare’s murder will surprise the world.
