Middle East drama is NO REVOLUTION - Historians

The processes in the Arab world, including Libya, can hardly be called revolutions, much less battles for democracy, agree the Nation’s editor and publisher Katrina Vanden Heuvel and New York University professor Stephen Cohen. ”In America there is a sense: Oh, democracy has come! No, regime change has barely come”, Katrina Vanden Heuvel said. ”These dictators have been ousted and what follows will be a measure of international support, of non-meddling, of countries’ ability to come together and find the resources. I come back again to economic development. I really think that is going to be critical in this region”, she added. ”Part of the problem in the United States is that a lot of the lessons being drawn in the media are the wrong lessons”, Stephen Cohen said. “People are saying: this is democracy. It is not and that will be a long journey. Maybe, it is the first step, but this is a long journey, this is far from certain.”

According to Cohen, what is happening in the region are also hardly revolutions. “People say this is a revolution, but as a historian, I react badly at this generalization”, he said. In Egypt, for example, Mubarak is gone, but the regime is still there, the military regime that governs the country. That is not a revolution … at the moment it is only leader change. Stephen Cohen added that the USZ should drop the illusion that its interference with the region’s affairs is crucial.”There is A LOT OF misperception”, he said. “The idea that the United States has to ‘shepherd’ these countries is a false lesson. That always ends badly. These countries will make it on their own or they will not make it at all.

Aaron Mark Blackwater's Chief in KPK & Fata

USZ citizen Aaron Mark DeHaven, who was arrested from Peshawar, has turned out to be the Blackwater’s chief in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Fata region, sources said. British website TheNewsTribe.Com  reported that the revelation came at a time when a local court in Peshawar is set to decide on his bail application on Monday. Sources in security organizations informed that the activities of Mark had been being monitored for a long time. He came under more suspicious when he tried to shut down his company ‘Catalyst Services Private Limited’ after the arrest of Raymond Davis, the CIA's “Cold Blooded Killer” as the police calls him. Sources close to the investigation said that his mobile phone record revealed he had contacts in Fata agencies.

Those close to the American claim that he got married to a Pakistani girl after converting to Islam, but could not renew his passport validity on which he was caught along with his wife in Peshawar. The security organizations have also included his wife in the investigation. Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Shaitan Malik has once again shamelessly repeated his rhetoric that there is no existence of Blackwater in Pakistan. Security officials were shocked to find Raymond Davis had more than 40 computerized national identity cards and not even a single ID card recovered from his possession proves him a diplomat. USZ has been insisting that Davis has diplomatic immunity and should be released.

Reuters' propaganda against Saudi Arabia for sparking another "revolution"

Read on Pakistan Cyber Force Facebook Page

In yet another propaganda attack, Reuters reports that:

Saudi security forces have detained at least 22 minority Shias who protested last week against discrimination, activists said on Sunday, as the kingdom tried to keep the wav e of Arab unrest outside its borders.Saudi Shias have staged small demonstrations in the Eastern Province, which holds much of the oil wealth of the world's top crude exporter. "Twenty-two were arrested on Thursday plus four on Friday, so the total is 26. This was all in Qatif," said rights activist Ibrahim al-Mugaiteeb, who heads the independent Saudi-based Human Rights First Society. A Shia activist in the province's main town of Qatif also said he knew of 22 arrests. Protests started in the area of Qatif and neighbouring Awwamiya and spread to the town of Hofuf on Friday. The demands were mainly for the release of prisoners demonstrators say are held without trial. Interior Ministry officials could not be reached for comment.

Why this news was prematurely released without confirmation from Saudi officials? Why does this report highlight SHIA SUNNI terms explicitely? Why does this report clearly claim that the protests happened in the OIL RICH EASTERN PROVINCES? Who are the "Demonstrators" whom Reuters is quouting? Connect the dots. Identify the enemy! Enough said.

PEW blasts India's intentions of turning Pakistan into desert, slams UN & stooge regime of Pakistan

The Pakistan Economy Watch (PEW) on Sunday said that India has stepped up its secret war against Pakistan to turn it into a desert. Pakistan, once a water happy country is now facing threat of water starvation but the response of our stooge regime remains far from satisfactory, it said. President PEW, Dr Murtaza Mughal said that India continues to steal our water while all efforts by Pakistan to find an agreeable solution have proved counterproductive. The Indus Waters Treaty has failed to settle water disputes between Pakistan and India therefore, it needs to be revisited and made to order, he said. Otherwise, he warned, nothing will forestall a war between two countries.

It’s in the interest of USZ and the international community to take measures to avert a possible water war. He said that the fraudulent United Nations was also supporting Indian conspiracies by pumping huge funds in such controversial projects. He lamented that resolution of such important issue has been left at the mercy of few bureaucrats as politicians remain busy in their favourite hobby of mudslinging. Dr Murtaza Mughal said that industries are being closed due to electricity and gas load shedding while insignificant issues keep all the political parties very pre occupied.
