{EOB}17 CIA-RAW backed TTP terrorists killed in direct PAF strike

At least 17 CIA-RAW backed khawarji terrorists of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan have been killed in upper Orakzai Agency in air strike by Pakistan Air Force. According to the officials, PAF jets targeted several hideouts of the CIA-RAW backed TTP in Mamuzai area earlier on Tuesday morning.

Reports add that at least 17 terrorists were killed in the attack besides 5 hideouts of the militants were completely wrecked.

• LOS ANGELES: Pakistan has closed three US military intelligence liaison centers in Quetta and Peshawar, a US newspaper reported.
• The liaison centers, also known as intelligence fusion cells, in Quetta and Peshawar are the main conduits for the United States to share satellite imagery, target data and other intelligence with Pakistani ground forces conducting operations against militants, including Taliban fighters who slip into Afghanistan.
• US special operations units have relied on the three facilities, two in Peshawar and one in Quetta, to help coordinate operations on both sides of the border, senior US officials said. The U.S. units are now being withdrawn from all three sites, the officials said, and the centers are being shut down.

{EOB}Pakistan decides to launch military offensive in North Waziristan: report

Islamabad: Pakistan has decided to launch military offensive in North Waziristan against Haqqani network, a deadliest faction of Afghan Taliban blamed for launching attacks against US led forces in Afghanistan, a Pakistani newspaper reported.
The News newspaper while quoting sources privy to the issue reported that Pakistani warplanes would soften up militant targets before ground troops were surged in the area.
It said an understanding had been reached over the offensive during last week’s visit by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Pakistan has been refusing to launch military operation in North Waziristan, saying its troops were already busy in hunting down Pakistani Taliban and would decide itself where and when to launch military operation.
