IMF draculas upset about restoration of Petrol prices in Pakistan

The IMF mafia has asked Pakistan to cut its energy subsidies saying they were "crippling" its economy, just hours after beleaguered puppet Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani bowing to political and civilian pressure reversed the controversial fuel price hike. They are unable to digest the fact that the new burden that was put on Pakistan's economy in the form of raised petrol prices in the name of "helping the economy" was lifted by the pressure built inside the country. Shamelessly terming the energy subsidies as "inefficient and untargeted", IMF spokeswoman Caroline Atkinson said these subsidies were consuming a large part of the country's budget.

Atkinson said bulk of the energy subsidies were being cornered by people of higher income group and large companies and Pakistan government should make efforts that its spending on energy subsidies should go towards the social sector, health, education and dealing with the after impact of the floods. IMF spokeswoman completely forgot that social sector, health, education and dealing with flood impact would not be possible if poor are directly guided towards death by this shamelessly hypocritical stance of IMF, the masterminds of crippling third world countries in the name of "reviving their economies" and then later on stealing their natural resources in return of worthless speculative dollar based loans.

The International Monetary Authority in 2008 tried its level best to make Pakistan bankrupt in 2008 and has extended a speculative loan for the country in order to justify it's presence in the region for it's larger despicable aims. "Just to clarify, the action on energy subsidies, petroleum prices, was not a part of the IMF program. However, energy subsidies consume a large part of the budget", Atkinson said at a news briefing. She said the IMF arrangement with Pakistan was due to come to an end at the end of December but was extended for nine months so it now will expire at the end of September. "That's to give space for us to continue to discuss with the government the two further disbursements that are allowable under the program and that continues to be the case. What's most important for our arrangement is the ability to discuss with the government, to agree with the government, on the measures that they are going to put in place the economy can support", she said. She however didn't mention the actual long term plans of IMF in the region behind the curtains of "helping" that they were longing for celebrating Pakistan's economic falling apart on the pattern of Yugoslavia and 1970's UK which they couldn't do so far.

{EOP}Afghanistan: From The British Empire to the NATO Invasion: “Blind Man Walking on a Roof.”

By Scott Taylor
In 1839, British troops and Indian sepoys poured into Afghanistan in what turned out to be an unnecessary pre-emptive move to block a feared Russian expansion into the territory. Although the Russian envoy had failed to woo the Afghan ruler, the British authorities decided to err on the side of caution and invaded Afghanistan anyway.
Their intent was to put a pliant puppet on the Kabul throne to ensure that the northwest frontier of their lucrative Indian colony remained secure.

True to the historical pattern, the invading British made short work of the poorly armed Afghan defenders. However, once the occupation phase began, the British became overconfident in their military superiority.
Prior to the invasion, Britain’s East India Company had paid the border tribes a tribute — or bribe — to allow their trade convoys safe passage through the Khyber Pass. Now that they had defeated the ragtag Afghan army and set up shop in Kabul, the East India Company decided to save themselves some money and cancelled the tribute payments.
The result was that the Pashtun tribes along the border rose up in revolt and cut off the British supply lines from India.
Forced to retreat from Kabul in the fall of 1841, the British garrison suffered the most complete defeat in military history, with only one survivor — dressed as a woman — managing to elude the victorious Afghans.
Fast-forward to the present conflict and the porous Afghan-Pakistani border remains the predominant headache for the occupying NATO forces. While it would be impossible for the current Afghan insurgents to repeat their forefathers’ feat of annihilating the foreign forces, due to our modern weaponry, airpower and technology, NATO’s inability to close the border provides the Taliban with a constant supply of men and material.
Just last week, U.S. Army Col. Viet Luong told the Washington Times that “to secure the border in the traditional sense would take an inordinate amount of resources.” As the commander of U.S. troops in the province of Khost, Col. Luong’s unit is responsible for 261 kilometres of the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.
The “traditional sense” to which Luong referred is, of course, the “Western sense” of securing borders, which would involve fences, checkpoints, sensors and controlled access — all of which would be impossible in this rugged mountain terrain where an actual delineation of territory has yet to be surveyed.
The Pashtun tribes along this territory are fiercely hostile to any outsiders and this includes the predominantly ethnic Tajiks and Uzbeks that comprise the ranks of the Afghan National Army. They are, however, also extremely loyal to their local warlord, Pocha Khan Zadran.
A former Taliban sympathizer, Zadran is also a cunning survivor who has now fully embraced the concept of democracy, for at least he enjoys its benefits.
As an elected member of Parliament, Zadran is technically only a minor official. In reality, he remains the only real authority in Afghanistan’s four easternmost provinces.
When I interviewed him at his Kabul home in 2008, Zadran made it clear that he was willing to use his own militia to close the border. In return, he would, of course, expect to be paid a form of “tribute” and he vowed he could rid his provinces of all Taliban within two months.
Like the British East India Company officials before them, the Americans have chosen to do things their own way rather than strike a compromise with Zadran’s collection of thieves and brigands. As a result, the border remains an open sore in this festering conflict.
Summing up the American strategy in Afghanistan, Zadran compared the U.S. military to a “blind man walking on a roof.”
If the Americans refuse to listen to directions, he told me, sooner or later, they are going to fall off.

{EOP} No End to Indian Military’s Lust for Cash Rewards

PLANTING of ‘fake’ improvised explosive devices by some people in connivance with Indian Army officials is becoming a new way in Indian-held Kashmir to earn hefty cash rewards, reported Indian Express on Sunday.
Certain individuals, including ex-servicemen, allegedly in connivance with some officials of Northern and Western Commands are engaged in ‘planting black sand’ and passing them on as RDX-laden IEDs to earn award money, highly-placed sources in the Indian government said.

The interrogation report of some of the accused including Mehboob Dar and an ex-serviceman Ram Prasad show a deep-rooted ‘nexus’ between the ex-servicemen and some serving officials especially working in the military intelligence in hatching a conspiracy and planting ‘fake’ IEDs, they said.
The nexus emerged when police recovered a consignment of apple boxes on October 8 near MLAs’ hostel in Jammu in which a cavity had been created to store a black material which was being passed off as explosive. The boxes had detonators attached to them, triggering panic.
After a detailed forensic analysis, the explosive material turned out to be sand which was attached to wires and detonators that were brought from stone quarries to give a realistic look of an IED, the sources said.
They said it seems to be a well-planned racket in which these people earn cash rewards from secret funds given to military intelligence for gathering inputs from along the international border with Pakistan and the Line of Control.
For instance, Dar said during his interrogation that he used to get Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000 for planting these ‘fake’ IEDs and he had done this at least 50 times between February 2009 and October 2010, when he was arrested.
The modus operandi was an eye-opener for the investigators as the details of the planting of fake IEDs as pointed out by Dar and his accomplice Krishen matched with the official records. In all such cases, it was found that such explosives were shown as ‘destroyed insitu’ (destroyed on spot) by the Indian Army which unearthed IEDs.

{EOP}Tigers of Islam:Khalid Bin Al Waleed (ra) - Full Film

Khalid ibn al-Walīd (Arabic: خالد بن الوليد‎; 592--642) also known as SayfAllah al-Maslul ( the Drawn Sword of Allah ), was a Sahabi,a companion of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad, astute in the art of war and one of the greatest tacticians in history. He is noted for his military tactics and prowess, commanding the forces of Muhammad and those of his immediate successors of the Rashidun Caliphate; Abu Bakr and Umar.It was under his military leadership that Arabia, for the first time in history, was united under a single political entity, the Caliphate. He is one of the few military generals in history who have remained undefeated in battle their entire life.[citation needed] He has the distinction of being undefeated in over a hundred battles, against the numerically superior forces of the Byzantine-Roman Empire, Sassanid-Persian Empire, and their allies, in addition to other Arab tribes. His strategic achievements include the conquest of Arabia, Persian Mesopotamia and Roman Syria within several years from 632 to 636. He is also remembered for his decisive victories at Yamamah, Ullais, Firaz, and his tactical marvels, at the Walaja and Yarmouk.[3] He is also one of the two military commanders, the other being Hannibal, who have successfully executed the pincer movement against a numerically superior opponent.

Khalid ibn al-Walid was from the Meccan tribe of Quraysh, from a clan that initially opposed Muhammad. He played a vital role in the Meccan victory at the Battle of Uhud. He converted to Islam, however, and joined Muhammad after the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah and participated in various expeditions for him, such as the Battle of Mu'tah. After Muhammad's death, he played a key role in commanding Medinan forces for Abu Bakr in the Ridda wars, conquering central Arabia and subduing Arab tribes. He captured the Sassanid Arab client Kingdom of Al-Hirah, and defeated the Sassanid Persian forces during his conquest of Iraq (Mesopotamia). He was later transferred to the western front to capture the Roman Syria and the Byzantine Arab client state of the Ghassanids. Even though Umar later relieved him of high command, he nevertheless remained the effective leader of the forces arrayed against the Byzantines during the early stages of the Byzantine--Arab Wars.[2] Under his command, Damascus was captured in 634 and the key Arab victory against the Byzantine forces was achieved at the Battle of Yarmouk (636),[2] which led to the conquest of the Bilad al-Sham (Levant). In 638, at the zenith of his career, he was dismissed from military service.

World Bank issues first ever Chinese Yuan bond - Internationalization of Chinese Yuan underway - Dollar haunting USZ

The World Bank's first yuan-denominated bond offered investors the chance to diversify their currency holdings and promotes the internationalization of the Chinese currency, the yuan, or RMB, economists said. The World Bank China Office said Wednesday the World Bank has priced 500 million yuan (76 million USZ dollars) of RMB-denominated fixed-rate two-year bonds with a coupon of 0.95% in Hong Kong. The bonds' settlement date is Jan. 14. They mature on Jan. 14, 2013. Interest on the bonds is paid semi-annually. HSBC was the bookrunner for the sale. The sale was the first RMB-bond issuance in Hong Kong this year, a World Bank statement said. "If yuan-bond issuance goes well, it will build trust between investors and the yuan currency. It will also promote the recognition of the RMB at the regional and international levels", Zhuang Jian, a senior Asian Development Bank economist said.

The issuance comes as China's shareholding in the World Bank is set to increase, after the realignment of voting shares announced last year. World Bank member countries reached an agreement last April to give more voting power to developing nations. Under the agreement, China's voting power will increase to 4.42% from 2.77%. Doris Herrera-Pol, global head of Capital Markets at the World Bank, said the World Bank's RMB-bond signals the World Bank's interest in supporting the development of the RMB market. "It is a privilege for us to have this opportunity that establishes the institution as a premier issuer in the fastest growing capital market in the world", Doris said.

Anita Fung, Head of the Global Banking and Markets with HSBC Asia-Pacific, said Hong Kong continues to develop as an offshore RMB center. In a significant step towards internationalizing the Chinese currency, China's central bank announced last month a dramatic expansion of its pilot program for cross-border yuan trade settlement to 67,359 domestic exporters from the original 365 firms. The pilot program, first announced last April by China's State Council, the Cabinet, allowed only exporters in Shanghai and four cities in the Pearl River Delta bordering Hong Kong -- Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Dongguan -- to settle cross-border trade deals in yuan. Two months later, the central bank further expanded the trial scheme to 20 regions from the original five cities.

China’s powerful stealth fighter surprises USZ and NATO

The United States of Zionism was taken by surprise over China’s first stealth fighter, which the Asian nation rolled out on Wednesday, a top American naval official said. At the same time, Vice Admiral David Dorsett, the director of USZ naval intelligence, downplayed Washington’s concerns, saying it would be “years” before China’s new fighter would be operational. But he did admit that the USZ had been surprised by the pace of some of China’s military development.
J-20 stealth fighter prototype

On the eve of USZ Defence Secretary Robert Gates’ visit to Beijing, photographs indicated a prototype of the J-20 had been completed after tests last week at an airfield in southwestern China.

“Developing a stealth capability with a prototype and then integrating that into a combat environment is going to take some time”, he said.

Dorsett said he was not surprised the Chinese were developing a stealth fighter to rival America’s fifth generation F-22 Raptor. Military analysts warn that China is developing a new version of its Dongfeng 21 (DF-21D) ballistic missile that could pierce the defences of even the sturdy USZ naval vessels and has a range far beyond Chinese waters.

“We underestimated when they would be competent and capable of delivering a technological weapon of that type”, Dorsett told reporters.
J-20 ready to take off

The naval intelligence chief said he was “more concerned” about China’s efforts in cyber-warfare and developing its capabilities in space. China’s Global Times reported on the J-20 fighter’s runway test at the Chengdu Aircraft Design Institute in southwest China. Photos also appeared on unofficial military Web sites and blogs. The plane could be flight-tested as early as Thursday, observers said. Deputy air force chief He Weirong told state television in November 2009 that China’s “fourth-generation” fighter, a reference to stealth technology, would begin testing soon and could enter service very shortly. Analysis of the J-20 photos indicates it is larger than Russian or USZ equivalents, probably letting it fly farther and carry heavier weapons.
