USZ kicked out of Shamsi Air-base along with all predator drones

Read on Pakistan Cyber Force Facebook Page

Pakistan has stopped all USZ operations from the Shamsi Air Base in Balochistan, an airport which was given to American forces for use after 9/11 and drone attacks were launched from the base on targets in the tribal areas, military sources have confirmed. It was also used extensively in 2001 when thousands of USZ sorties took off to bomb Afghanistan a few weeks after the 9/11 circus by Mossad in New York. As the relations between Islamabad and Washington have strained due to latter’s mounting interference and repeated breach of Pakistan’s sovereignty, the USZ Embassy spokesman, Alberto Rodriguez, confirmed that there are no USZ forces at the Shamsi Air Base in Balochistan.

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) spokesperson, when approached about his version on the vacation of USZ forces and the deadly drones from Shamsi airfield, explained that the airfield does not belong to the PAF while the Pakistan Army sources confirmed that the airfield was free from the American forces. No one was prepared to share with the reporting media sources, the dates or the time period when the Shamsi airfield was vacated by the Americans although the sources insist that it is a recent development. Almost a year back, stooge Defence Minister Ahmad Mukhtar spoke on the topic of the Shamsi Air Base confirming that it was being used by American forces for logistical purposes but, he added, the government was not satisfied with payments for the use of the facility. Mukhtar, however, did not go into the nature of airfield’s use by the American forces. Prior to Shamsi, Pakistan had also got vacated from the USZ forces the Jacobabad Air Base and Pasni, which were used for its operations in Afghanistan.

The USZ has been using the Shamsi Air Base in Balochistan province to station unmanned Predator drones that have been used to attack women and children inside Pakistan’s tribal areas. Shamsi airfield, also called Bandari, is a small airfield and air station located about 200 miles southwest of Quetta near the town of Washki. In 2009, media reports revealed that the airfield was used by the United States of Zionism's Central Intelligence Agency as a base for Predator drone attacks on so-called militants in Pakistan’s tribal areas but ended up killing several hundreds innocent people. On January 9, 2002, a USZ Marine Corps KC-130 aircraft reportedly crashed on approach to Shamsi. All seven crew members were killed in the crash.

Shamsi Air-Base satellite images taken in 2009
In February 2009, The Times of London had announced that it had obtained Google images from 2006 which showed Predator aircraft parked outside a hangar at the end of the runway of the Shamsi airfield. Before that, a USZ Senator Dianne Feinstein said that the CIA was basing its drone aircraft in Pakistan. The USZ mercenary contractor company Black-Water (Xe Services) was also reported to have a presence there, hired by the government to arm the drones with missiles. It was General M(B)usharraf who had permitted the USZ to use its airbases not only to attack Afghanistan but also to launch drone attacks on the people of Pakistan in the name of the so-called war on terror. The present stooge regime also continued with M(B)usharraf’s policies and allowed much larger number of drone attacks than before.

WikiLeaks had revealed that Prime Minister Gilani had endorsed the drones’ policy. Gilani was reported to have even said to the USZ officials that his government would raise hue and cry over these drone attacks for the sake of countering the public pressure. However, of late and after the Raymond Davis episode, things became extremely tense between Washington and Islamabad with the CIA insisting to carry on with its operations, including the drone attacks inside Pakistan, while the ISI is adamant to restricting the Americans from crossing the red-line.

India engaged in strategic encirclement of Balochistan

It was a revealing two-day visit to this new port city, which was arranged by ISPR for media persons basically to cover a function at the Gwadar Institute of Technology, a joint venture of Balochistan Government and Pakistan Army. The stooge Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Khan Raisani and General Kayani addressed the function. It was a rare occasion with all respects. The extempore remarks made by Army Chief in the middle of his speech were apparently overwhelmingly emotional in its tone and tenure but in substance the message was clear in its entirety.

Balochistan (Green in the map), Pakistan.
It was a public speech in which General Kayani had to go extempore emphasising the need for national unity that only could make Pakistan the most secured country in the world with all respects, strengthen Pakistan Army and promote prosperity. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the Army Chief referred to the fate of huge military set up of former Soviet Union; making his message for all and sundry loud and clear that public support was the lone element that factors in strengthening any Army. “Pakistan Army has scrapped its plans for establishing three more cantonments in Balochistan. And the last battalion of Pakistan Army will be withdrawn from Sui within next two months”, General Kayani told the audience. He went on saying that from now onwards the Frontier Corps (FC) would take the responsibility and discharge its duty on the directives of the provincial government, while Pakistan Army would focus only on the economic development in the province.

These extempore remarks clearly suggested that the Army Chief had given serious thoughts before making them public. By announcing withdrawal of army troops from Sui, he has brought to the end the controversy that Army was in any manner engaged in any undeclared military operation in the restive province where India was already supporting a low intensity insurgency. With this move Pakistan Army has finally shifted responsibility of maintaining law and order to the provincial government and to help create conducive conditions for the PPP-led stooge coalition to open doors for talks with those Baloch leaders involved in fanning militancy. Simultaneously, Gen Kayani has unveiled plans to give due representation to Balochs in Army by inducting 18,000 soldiers by 2012, which is a process initiated by Pakistan Army as a long term measure to bring Balochs in the fold of national security gamut. Nevertheless, background interviews and discussions with senior provincial govt functionaries and military revealed a bigger game plan of some anti-Pakistan entities.

American Terrorism: Drone kills 25 including women and children in North Waziristan

Three women and five children among 25 people were killed while several others injured in a USZ drone attack on a compound in North Waziristan. According to reports, USZ drones fired five missiles on a compound in Spinwam, 40 kilometres (25 miles) northeast of Miranshah. On the other hand intelligence officials said, Four missiles fired by two USZ pilotless aircraft hit a house in North Waziristan on Friday, killing 25 civilians. People condemned USZ claims, saying that the killed persons were innocent instead of Taliban or insurgents. "USZ drones fired five missiles on a compound in Spinwam, northeast of Miranshah", said a local official. "Several people were also wounded in the attack, which took place at around 4:30 a.m", he added.

On the other hand, Reuters has once again come up with its disgusting reports full of propaganda in which an unnamed "security official" calls REUTERS alone out of this world and tells "on the condition of anonymity" that the house was being used as a "militant hideout". A question to Reuters is, how on earth can you link children to militants you lying scumbag puppets of New World Order?

It was the first missile strike to hit the North Waziristan since March 17 when a drone attack killed 41 people, including many civilians, causing a diplomatic furor over the unpopular USZ campaign.

{EOP}UNITED STATES OF ZIONISIM {BirthYear 1776 DeathYear 2011}

This is an undeniable fact that we are living in a uni-polar world and USZ is merely called a super power, but this is also a fact that when you start poking your nose in every matter of the world, you increase your number of action fronts and the more the number of action fronts, the more difficult it becomes to manage them simultaneously. This happened to the late empire of USSR. And now after the drums of war seize in Libya, the same thing is going to cripple USZ. The current war going on in Libya is proving to be a disaster for USZ and its economy and the statement of Obama that "We do not want another is Iraq in Libya" is a clear indication that USZ is trapped in another long-lasting war. They considered Qaddafi to be an easy opponent, but the usage of F-22 raptors, which were never used in Iraq war, shows that USZ is in complete panic and they want to end this war as soon as possible.
Pakistan's Army and ISI's role in trapping USZ is worth mentioning here. ISI and CIA are at dagger's drawn these days. It all started some time ago, when USZ's proposal of an operation in North Waziristan was given a deaf ear by Pakistan's top military brass. It was very annoying for USZ as in the past they had to deal with a puppet M(B)usharraf, and most of their wishes were fulfilled. Let me give you a historic background of why Pakistan Army rejected this proposal. Pakistan Army held a successful operation in South Waziristan, and wiped out most of the CIA supported terrorists of TTP but in N.Waziristan, the situation is completely different. They are peaceful people and Pakistan Army is in peace agreement with them.

In M(B)usharraf's time Pakistan, a deliberate blunder pushed Pakistan into an endless flurry of violence which is still continuing. However, Pakistan had a peace accord with tribes in South Waziristan but they broke that accord by killing their leader Naik Muhammad. The tribes got furious on this and it is a fact that TTP started gaining control after this incident. Pakistani Armed Forces don't want to repeat that mistake again by launching an assault in North Waziiristan, and hence today's statement of America's Terrorist-in-Chief Mike Mullen that "ISI's relation with Haqqani Network in N.Waziristan is the core cause of PAK-USZ tension". Similarly, the tension created after the Raymond Davis episode also adds to it. Raymond was released but ISI increased its might in the area, and now very soon, around 500 CIA operatives are about to be forced to leave Pakistan which will decrease CIA's control in this region even further.

ISI seems to be in an aggressive mood now. They threatened USZ about the drone attacks. ISI chief General Pasha visited USZ to decrease the tension and make USZ accept some of its terms, but they were rejected and the recent drone attack created a rage in Pakistan's Military brass. The tension increased even more when Pakistan Arm was hunting TTP terrorists in Bajuar Agency but they crossed the border and were given shelter in USZ military camps. According to latest reports received by PCF, there has been a fierce battle between Pakistan and NATO forces on Pakistan-Afghan border, in KUNAR province of Afghanistan. In this battle, Afghan Mujahideen fought shoulder-to-shoulder with Pakistan Armed forces, and drove back the terrorists invaders. Additional reports say that Pakistan captured half of Kunar province before the ceasefire!!

The war in Afghanistan is also creating panic in USZ administration as the Mujahideen are gaining control killing thousands of terrorist invaders in 2011. This is proving to be the worst year for USZ in Afghanistan. All these facts reveal that USZ is now completely trapped in a cul-de-sac and there is no way to escape, and its downfall and balkanization is not very far away. The question arises that "What should common Pakistanis do?" The answer is simple: be prepared for a High Intensity Conflict that is just around the corner and it will be imposed directly by USZ on Pakistan!! This war is now inevitable because of USZ desperateness.

Kayani slams USZ allegations as “Negative Propaganda”

Read on Pakistan Cyber Force Facebook Page

General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani,
Pakistan's COAS
Army on Thursday rejected as “negative propaganda” suggestions that it was not doing enough to combat (CIA in disguise of) al-Qaeda and Taliban, hours after the top USZ terrorist in chief Mike Mullen accused its main intelligence agency of maintaining ties with militants. The comments reflected deepening mistrust between the two uneasy allies, whose relations hit a new low after fatal shooting of two Pakistanis by Raymond Davis, a CIA contractor, in January in Lahore. “The Pakistan army’s ongoing operations are a testimony of our national resolve to defeat terrorism”, a military statement quoted Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani as telling Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the USZ Military’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, during his fleeting visit to Pakistan on Wednesday.

“He (Kayani) strongly rejected negative propaganda of Pakistan not doing enough and Pakistan army’s so called lack of clarity on the way forward.” Mullen, the most senior USZ Terrorist Official to visit Pakistan since ties were badly strained over the Davis case, told a television channel that links between elements of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Haqqani faction of the Afghan Taliban were continuing to strain the relationship. “Haqqani is supporting, funding, training fighters that are killing Americans and killing coalition partners. And I have a sacred obligation to do all I can to make sure that doesn’t happen”, Mullen told the TV channel ahead of talks with Kayani.

Kayani acknowledged that evolving Pak-USZ strategic relation was important for the achievement of mutual long-term objectives of comprehensive security of both the countries. The COAS underscored the centrality of reciprocal respect towards each other’s sovereignty, upholding of universal principle of value of human life and above all the long sought after goal of addressing the trust deficit between the institutions as well as the people on both sides. Kayani, who last month issued a rare condemnation of a USZ missile strike in North Waziristan near the Afghan border that killed more than 40 tribesmen, repeated his opposition to covert USZ operations in the border regions, saying it was hurting Pakistan’s own war against militants. “(Kayani) reinforced the government’s stance on drone strikes and emphasised that these not only undermine our national effort against terrorism but turn public support against our efforts, which remains the key to success.” In the wake of the Davis case, some Pakistani officials have called for sharp cuts in drone attacks, an issue that was raised in talks last week in Washington between CIA director Leon Panetta and ISI chief Lieutenant-General Ahmad Shuja Pasha.

A USZ official on Wednesday said the United States of Zionism would not abandon its drone program, but how it goes forward was a matter for Pakistani and USZ intelligence and military officials to determine. While on one hand, both USZ and Pakistani officials have spoken of the need to keep the partnership intact, especially as Washington looks for a way out of Afghanistan, officials from both countries have also made strong, even harsh, statements defending their actions. While visiting Pakistan, America's Terrorist in Chief Mike Mullen told a private TV channel that he would bring up the issue of Pakistan’s ties to the militant Haqqani network when he saw Pakistani army chief Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani. But in a statement issued after he saw Mullen, Kayani did not mention the Haqqanis, and said both sides were determined not to let their relationship collapse.

As he has in the past, Mullen noted that a deficit of trust has existed between the United States of Zionism and Pakistan since the United States cut off military contacts between the two countries in 1990. The military-to-military relationship re-started in 2002, he said, but the effects of the rift still are being felt. “We can’t just snap our fingers and say 'OK, we trust each other now' ”, he said. “This has to be carefully and constantly worked on.” Meanwhile, military leadership expressing their severe concerns over the USZ spy network in FATA have asked the USZ to wrap up their spy network from the area and stated that the clearance of intelligence agencies mandatory for any visa extension of USZ citizens living in Pakistan.

Defence sources told Online that during USZ Joint Terrorist in Chief Michael Mullen meetings with the Army leadership proves the presence of USZ and other agents in Tribal Areas as well as presence of spy network operating in Pakistan were handed over to Mullen. Mullen was told that the presence of spy network in the area is putting at risk the security forces operating in that areas as these spies are playing double game. On one hand these spies often give unconfirmed reports of terrorist hide-outs while on the other hand they have links with several extremist elements and tell them about the movement of security forces. The military leadership demanded of USZ to immediately wrap up this network and inform Pakistan of all such persons operating in the country.

Sources further told that USZ after hearing Pakistan‘s reservations is considering shifting its spies network to Kabul. On the other hand, record of all USZ citizens living in Pakistan have been compiled after the Raymond Davis fiasco and the stooge Interior Ministry has been told that prior to extending visa of any USZ national, the clearance of intelligence agencies must be obtained in each case. After this decision, several USZ citizens have been denied of extension in their visas and several of the USZ personnel are leaving Pakistan silently after the expiry of their visas. Pakistan Ambassador to USZ Hussain Haqqani has also been directed to forward details of all USZ nationals visiting Pakistan to Foreign Office and Defence Ministry.

{EOP}Our Search For a Forgotten Identity

By Brig Asif Haroon Raja
Anti-Pakistan and pro-western and pro-Indian Pakistani writers keep writing about Pakistan negatively to breed doubts and misgivings about the foundations of Pakistan, two-nation theory, Pakistan’s ideology, its identity and even Pakistan’s national anthem. The liberal class in particular remains in the vanguard to spread feelings of despondency. Fascinated by Indian and western cultures, this class steadfastly defends foreign cultures and their acts of omission and commission and enthusiastically sing the tutored themes to undermine Pakistan. The western educated intellectuals and writers among them feed half-truths and lies to confuse the youth that had neither seen British imperialism, nor the real face of bigoted Hindus, or had experienced the pangs of Pakistan movement and travails of partition of India.
It is now an established fact that irrespective of infrequent extension of hand of friendship, India has never desired to live as peaceful and friendly neighbor with Pakistan. 64 years is a long period but time and tide has not mellowed down the undying hatred of Indian leaders’ for Pakistan. They have neither forgiven Jinnah nor reconciled to the existence of Pakistan. They still dream of absorbing Pakistan into Indian Union so as to fulfill their age-old dream of illusive Akhand Bharat either by force of arms or through deceptive means. They have artfully used media and psy ops as tools to poison the minds of Pakistanis and to draw cleavages between various communities with a view to fomenting regionalism and weakening the very foundations of Pakistan. The US, Europe and Israel harboring ill-will for Muslim Pakistan buttress Indian efforts.
In order to weaken Islam which acts as the sole unifying factor, India has been resorting to never ending tricks to undermine Islam. Apart from its own efforts, it has been making good use of the liberal brigade in Pakistan which helps in distorting facts of history and creating sense of disillusionment and despondency among the younger generation about Pakistan and its future. Since all the leading English newspapers like Dawn, The News, Daily Times as well as journals and publishing houses are controlled by seculars, and are funded by foreign powers; it becomes that much easier for India and western powers to promote their agenda.
India’s first major success was in former East Pakistan where Indian inspired language controversy became the cause of east-west estrangement. Subsequently real and imaginary grievances were aired on the plea that the west was prospering at the cost of east. Punjab was projected as the chief villain to widen the gulf. After dismembering Pakistan and creating Bangladesh, Indian psy operators shifted their focus entirely towards Sindh so as to poison the minds of Sindhis. Their insidious efforts resulted in birth of several anti-Pakistan political parties/groups in interior Sindh such as Sindhu Desh led by GM Sayyed. Politics of Sindh were further vitiated after the delivery of MQM in Karachi which sharpened rural-urban divide. Sindh is in throes and Karachi where target killings have become a norm has become a wounded city.
India is currently concentrating on Balochistan where East Pakistan type conditions have been created. Rebellious Baloch Sardars belonging to Bugti, Marri and Mengal tribes in rural Balochistan fully aided by RAW and other foreign agencies are waging a separatist movement. While non-locals, Hazaras and pro-government Baloch are being routinely gunned down by shady outfits like BLA and BRA, the non-locals have migrated from Baloch held regions. The minds of Baloch youth and women are being poisoned and brainwashed to hate Pakistan, particularly Army and Punjab. Neither national anthem is sung nor Pakistan flag flown in most Baloch controlled educational institutions.
Although the separatist elements form a tiny minority and majority of Baloch as well as all other nationalities including largest minority of Pashtuns are patriotic Pakistanis and abhor separatists, human rights activists and some foreign paid NGOs support the cause of rebels. They feel disturbed when security forces take counter measures to safeguard national interests and to protect the lives peaceful citizens and dub their preventive acts as human rights violations.
In her write up ‘Our search for a forgotten identity’ dated April 14 appearing in The News, Kamila Hyat seeks to defend the acts of Baloch rebels. She maintains that only miniscule size of population in Balochistan prevents the struggle to assert independence from succeeding. Rather than castigating non-singing of national anthem in Baloch run schools/colleges, she casts aspersion on the anthem defining it as controversial and enigmatic. She makes fun of it by asserting that none in Pakistan understands its meanings since it is a mix of Persian, Arabic and Hindi. She also underplays Urdu saying that it is depicted as being more refined and higher in lingual hierarchy. Even English has not been spared since she says that only a tiny minority speaks this language. If that be so, one fails to understand, which language would have been more suited for our anthem.
Being so highly educated, one wonders why she is so ignorant about the history of Urdu which has vowels from Arabic, Persian and Hindi languages. Persian was the official language throughout the long rule of Mughals until it was axed by the British in 1835 and replaced with English so as to shatter the culture and civilization of Indian Muslims and render them uneducated. While Urdu was declared as a lingua franca for Pakistan by Quaid-e-Azam, and it continues to be so, Kamila sees language crises in Punjab where according to her tens of thousands of parents do not converse in Punjabi with their children and that Punjabi is not formally taught in educational institutions. What has she to say about that category of elites which converse more in English and very less in their mother tongue?
All these 64 years, Pakistanis have been singing national anthem with gusto. The lyrics and powerful composition is so motivating that it inculcates a sense of pride and oneness among all Pakistanis irrespective of their religion, caste, ethnic and sectarian diversities. I am nonplussed what impelled Kamila to harbor dark thoughts about the anthem about which none has ever raised any objection. There can be no other reason to this lunacy than to please India and Bloch rebels.
To encourage separatists in Balochistan, she subtly draws a comparison by saying that today Bangladesh is much more prosperous than what it was when it was part of Pakistan and is socially and economically better than Pakistan. I may suggest to her to take a trip to Bangladesh and interact with the people and gain firsthand information how they feel towards Pakistan and India. Majority of the older generation fondly recall the good old days of united Pakistan and curse India. Despite Indian massive propaganda over 60% of the youth in Bangladesh is pro-Pakistan. This becomes evident on the occasion of India-Pakistan cricket match played in Dacca. Pakistan has helped Bangladesh in development of its armament industry, air force, air defence and several other fields.
Kamila pricks the minds of Pakistani youth by suggesting that it is confused about Pakistan’s identity, why was it created, what it is about and what precisely was gained by seeking independence and who we are.  She expresses doubts whether Pakistan is based around a commonality of religion or other factors. It is people like her who are befuddled and are neither here nor there. They are ashamed of their identity, culture and religion and their country of origin from which they draw all benefits and social status. Sailing in two boats, they are Pakistanis in name only but in practice are attached to western and Indian cultures. They call themselves Muslims but know little of their religion and yet censure those who are better versed with Quran and Hadiths. To please their mentors, they dub Islamists as uncouth, fundamentalists, extremists and terrorists and hold them responsible for all the ills in our society.
Kamila blames Gen Ziaul Haq for pushing Pakistan from South Asia to Middle East by way of introducing Arabic as a subject in schools and emphasizing on Islamic teachings as in Saudi Arabia and changing the dress code from trouser to shalwar kameez (she prefers to call it keffiyeh to sell her point that Zia imposed Saudi culture). Great majority in Pakistan has all along preferred shalwar kameez which is affordable and comfortable. She laments that Zia tried to mould our centuries old South Asian identity into West Asian. She is oblivious to the historical fact that it was secular Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who after the 1971 debacle had scraped western pacts of SEATO and CENTO and gravitated Pakistan towards West Asia to gain greater security from aggressive India. Islamic conference hosted by him in 1974 was a step in that direction.
Notwithstanding that 65% of our population has its origins in Central Asia; we cannot detach ourselves from our roots in Arabian Peninsula from where Islam under Holy Prophet (pbuh) sprouted. The first brick of Islam was laid in the Indian subcontinent by Muhammad bin Qasim in 712. The Arabs made Sindh an extension of Ummayad Empire and ruled it for over 300 years. Kamila and scores of her like-minded friends do not mind Indian and western culture seeping into Pakistan but feel unduly alarmed at the prospects of Muslim culture permeating into our society.
Ignoring Indo-Pak antagonism and following in the footsteps of Indian sponsored group ‘Aman-ki-Asha’, Kamila admonishes unnamed hawks who in her view are preventing Pakistan from falling into Indian lap. She strongly feels that salvation of Pakistan rests in forging friendship with India. I hazard to ask her, starting from Jinnah which Pakistani leader espoused animosity with India? All our leaders, whether civilian or military, endeavored to develop close ties with India, but their efforts were thwarted by hawkish Indian leaders. Didn’t Musharraf go out of the way to solve Kashmir dispute which is the real bone of contention between two neighbors? Is India prepared to solve the dispute in accordance with UN resolutions and the aspirations of people of Indian occupied Kashmir? Is India prepared to stop constructing dozens of dams over rivers flowing into Pakistan in violation of Indus Water Treaty? Will India agree to build even-handed and mutually beneficial ties with Pakistan? Answer to all will of course be in negative.
While Indian historians have distorted history of Muslim rule in India by undermining Muslims rulers and overplaying Hindu leaders, Indian youth is fed with fanciful myths to glorify Hindus ancient past. However, India presses Pakistan that its history books lionizing Muslim rulers should be amended since it bred extremism.
Now that the real actors behind 26/11 attacks are getting exposed, Kamila has tried to give a new twist to the incident that Mumbai attacks may have been engineered by hawks in Pakistan (meaning ISI) to prevent the two archrivals to embrace each other. She has described India as a holy cow ever desirous of peace and Pakistan as a devil fomenting hatred against India and polluting the minds of the younger generation. Either she is extremely naive, or she considers us all to be dimwitted.
I may like to remind her that Vajpayee had signed peace treaty with Pakistan in January 2004 with evil intentions. While he was signing the agreement RAW was busy giving final touches to its covert war plan to be unleashed from Afghan soil in concert with other intelligence agencies. Eastern border including Line of Control in Kashmir were made peaceful so as to launch cultural invasion in Punjab. The youth, artists of all hues and the liberal class were its targets for subversion. Publication of negative stories about Pakistan’s identity and national anthem are a consequence to Indian cultural onslaught. Kamila’s article devoid of judiciousness is simply nauseating.

{EOP}Kayani Rejects Mullen’s Comments as ‘Propaganda’

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s army chief General Ashfaq Kayani vowed to defeat terrorism and rejected the notion of Islamabad “not doing enough” in the war against terrorism, the military said on Thursday.
His comments followed remarks by Admiral Mike Mullen, the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, accusing Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency of having ties with militants in the northwest tribal belt.
The army chief “strongly rejected negative propaganda of Pakistan not doing enough and Pakistan army’s lack of clarity on the way forward,” the military said in a statement, a day after Mullen met top military generals in Islamabad.
Kayani said that the “army’s ongoing operations are a testimony of our national resolve to defeat terrorism”, according to the statement.
In an interview with TV channel Geo, Mullen — the highest ranking officer in the US armed forces — said: “ISI has a long standing relationship with the Haqqani network, that does not mean everybody in ISI but it is there.”
But the military statement said Mullen “lauded the sacrifices and efforts of people of Pakistan and its security forces” in the war against terror.
He also made reassurances that “security ties will not be allowed to unravel between the two armed forces”.
The Haqqani network is an al Qaeda-allied organisation run by Afghan warlord Sirajuddin Haqqani and based in the North Waziristan tribal district.
The group has been blamed for some of the deadliest anti-US attacks in Afghanistan.
Kayani and Mullen re-stated their aims of building “reciprocal respect towards each other’s sovereignty” and addressing the “trust deficit between the institutions as well as the people on both the sides,” the statement said.
Kayani described public support as the key to success in the war against terrorism but said that controversial US drone strikes “not only undermine our national effort against terrorism but also turn public support against our efforts”.

{EOP}Hatf-IX: Pakistan’s ‘Cold Start’ Buster

Islamabad is keeping its powder dry, its lances ready and its arrows sharpened. There is no time for complacency. IN most cases than not, Bharati combat exercises are matched with Pakistani combat exercises on the other side of the border. It wouldn’t be surprising if Islamabad announced an exercise within the next few days. Pakistan is talking to Bharat, but keeping its options open. It test fired a tactical Nuclear missile called Hatf-IX to let Bharat know that any attempt to implement “Cold Start” would invite a rapid and instantaneous response right on the battlefield. Pakistan has successfully miniaturized its tactical nukes and mounted them on short range missiles like the Hatf-IX. These missiles would thwart any misadventures by Bharat and halt any aggression in its tracks. The tactical nukes will create hell on earth on any Bharati “Rapid Deployment” force that attempts to cross the sacred borders of Pakistan and make mincemeat of incoming agressors.
The Hatf-IX test timed to distract the chaos of the 1.13-million combat exercise, codenamed “Vijayee Bhava” (Be Victorious), in the Thar desert. Hartf-IX is only part of the arsenal that would diffuse the “high tempo” operations that are practicing death across the border.
Delhi has long threatened Pakistan with “pro-active conventional war strategy”, (“cold start” doctrine). For years Pakistan has perfected the response of this sort of mis-adventure. The lethal nuclear tipped Hatf-IX has a strike range of only 60 km–clearly brandished as a “battlefield nuclear weapon” to deter Indian armored forces from attempting to cross into Pakistan territory. The Hatf-IX is an addition to the long range nuclear Shaheens and medium range Nuclear Ghauris.
The “Vijayee Bhava” conventional exercise is “much a do about nothing” even though the combat manoeuvres may be simulated under “a NBC (nuclear, chemical, biological) overhang. The combat exercise, which will enter its peak phase in early-May. It is being primarily conducted by the armoured corps-intensive 2 Corps, considered to be the most crucial of Army’s three principal “strike” formations. Bharat has long dreamed of using this force to cut Pakistan into two during a full-fledged war. Hatf-IX, Ghauri and Shaheen pour water on those designs.
2002: Operation Parakram in 2002 took almost a month to reach D-Day readiness, India has reorganized Army formations all along the western front to enable a more swift and powerful offensive punch. The exercise was a colossal failure. Before the units could mobilize, Pakistani combat exercizes had already mobilized and were ready for combat on the Pakistani border–sending a clear signal that “Cold Start” was a frigid failure.
2005: The South-Western Command (SWAC) was created at Jaipur in 2005 as the Army’s sixth operational command. With the Mathura-based 1 `Strike’ Corps and Bhatinda-based 10 `Pivot’ Corps under it, SWAC is responsible for offensive operations on the western front in conjunction with the Western Army Command (Chandimandir), which controls the 2 `Strike’ Corps.
The Northern and Bhopal based Southern Army Commands 21 `Strike’ Corps, at Udhampur and Pune respectively, are to play a role  in the event of a war but it will be SWAC and WAC which will assume the pivotal roles. The western and southwestern commands of IAF have also stepped up coordination with the different Army commands in the western theatre to synergize efforts to build “an integrated and organic” air-land war-fighting machinery.
2009: Bharat tried again in 2009. The Indian 2 Corps conducted the now infamous`Hind Shakti’ exercise to try to test the pro-active (Cold Start) strategy. Cold Start is all about mobilizing fast and hitting hard at several border points to catch the enemy unawares and gain momentum”.
2011: In 2011 Delhi is trying again. The current `Vijayee Bhava’ exercise includes elements from the Western Army Command (WAC) formations like the Jalandhar-based 11 Corps. The VB will use hundreds of tanks, artillery guns and over 30,000 soldiers. The VB exercise is geared for “network-centric operations” will see the extensive use of satellite imagery, helicopter-borne surveillance systems, spy drones and a wide array of land-based radars to “achieve battlefield transparency”.

{EOP}India horrified by Pakistan Air Force

The Pakistan Air Force is stronger than ever. Since the last Indo-Pak air war of 1971, the Pakistan Air Force has with steely determination built up numbers, lethal capabilities and a combat force now counted as one of the most disciplined and well-trained air forces in the world. India's Headlines Today has a disturbing proof that all this has made India worried. A recent presentation by the Indian defence intelligence establishment paints a morbid picture of how the numbers and capability advantage that the Indian Air Force has always found comfort in is rapidly slipping away.

Headlines Today has accessed the recent presentation made to the Indian Ministry of Defence. The document makes singularly ominous projections. The most glaring warning is about combat force ratio. The presentation says that the ratio of 1:1.7 is likely to progressively dip to 1:1.2 by the end of 2012. It describes this as a "historic low". It also says that the traditional hi-tech advantage is almost equal now with 9.5:11 squadron ratio. With Pakistan rapidly acquiring early warning aircraft, mid-air refuellers and long-range missiles, the technology gap is at a historic low. It is a wake-up call to India's military planners. The decisions taken now could forever doom the crucial advantage that the Indian Air Force has always enjoyed against an adversary that can never be underestimated.

A formidable adversary

The last time the air forces of India and Pakistan fought a full-blown war was forty years ago. But if the Pakistan Air Force of 1971 was an enemy to be reckoned with, circumstances have made it an even more formidable adversary today. The internal assessment by the Indian defence establishment makes some grimly practical projections in the light of an adversary emboldened by an unfettered modernisation spree. The Indian government has been warned that with the Indian Air Force's edge slipping fast, the Pakistan Air Force's assertiveness is likely to increase. Once seen as a primarily defensive force, the Pakistan Air Force will use its new strength to employ offensive and defensive operations in equal measure.

With new precision weapons, the Pakistan Air Force will conduct limited strikes to achieve strategic effects. The one thing that won't change -- high-value targets in J&K will be high-priority targets for the PAF. There's a deeper threat at play than just fighter numbers. Consider these newly inducted force multiplers that all but kill the Indian air advantage. Pakistan is inducting four Swedish Saab Erieye and four Chinese Y-8 airborne early warning aircraft, while India, currently, has three. India no longer has the mid-air refueller advantage. Pakistan is inducting four identical IL-78M aircraft. The Indian Air Force's UAV advantage is also disappearing. Pakistan is acquiring 25 European UAVs, with more in the pipeline.

Despite the ominous projections of the presentation, there are those who believe the Indian Air Force will always remain on top. Among them, Air Marshal Denzil Keelor, one half of the legendary Keelor brothers, who scored independent India's first air-to-air kill against Pakistan in 1965. But for the IAF to remain ahead, and stem the swiftly dwindling capability advantage over Pakistan, it needs to make some hard decisions across the board.

Delayed decisions

Rapid inductions of new generation fighters give the Pakistan Air Force significantly enhanced fighting potential. The air superiority fighter advantage that the IAF once enjoyed is progressively disappearing. A determined plugging of air defence gaps with radars and missiles has starkly reduced the Indian Air Force's freedom of action in the event of war. There are several reasons why the situation has been allowed to get so grim for the Indian Air Force. Delays in the Tejas have forced the Air Force to grapple with stop-gap arrangements that don't quite cut it. The Indian mother of all deals for 126 new fighters is still incomplete more than ten years after the IAF said it needed the aircraft urgently.

Finally, with an ageing Soviet fleet of flying caskets (MIGs) that are troublesome and facing retirement, the Air Force looks at an even greater dip in the numbers advantage. The message to the Defence Ministry and the government is simple. Cut your losses and plan hard for the future. If you don't, the Indian Air Force will lose the one thing you've always counted on: its combat edge.

{EOP}US Terrorists The Kill Team

By S. M. Hali
The latest issue of German daily Der Spiegel and US journal Rolling Stone disclose an abominable and grotesque specter of psychopaths in the United States Army, who murder Afghans in cold blood and brandish their victims’ severed heads like hunting trophies. TheDer Spiegel story is aptly titled: ‘Das zweitte Abu Ghuraib’; while the Rolling Stone Op-Ed ‘The Kill Team: How U.S. Soldiers in Afghanistan Murdered Innocent Civiliantells the same story.
The grisly description pertains to a group of US soldiers from Bravo Company of the 3rd Platoon—part of the 5th Stryker Brigade, deployed in Afghanistan, who took it upon themselves to eliminate innocent Afghans only for their perverted pleasure. One of the culprits, Corporal Jeremy Morlock even severed the little finger of his first victim Gul Mudin, an unarmed 15 year old Afghan youth of La Mohammad Kalay and has carried it around as a souvenir. The mental depravity of the group has reached the stage that appalling photos of the dead have been treated like a war memento and passed from man to man on thumb and hard drives. The collection also includes several videos shot by US troops.
In a shaky, 30-minute clip titled “Motorcycle Kill,” soldiers believed to be with another battalion in the Stryker Brigade gun down two Afghans on a motorcycle who may have been armed. One of the most chilling files shows two Afghans suspected of planting an IED being blown up in an airstrike. Shot through thermal imaging, the grainy footage has been edited into a music video, complete with a rock soundtrack and a title card that reads ‘death zone.’
Even before the war crimes became public, the Pentagon went to extraordinary measures to suppress the photos—an effort that reached the highest levels of both governments. General Stanley McChrystal and President Hamid Karzai were reportedly briefed on the photos as early as May 2010, and the military launched a massive effort to find every file and pull the pictures out of circulation before they could touch off a scandal on the scale of Abu Ghuraib.
The sad part is that the US, the champion of human rights is not a signatory to International Human Rights Commission Acts. In the 21st century, the US actively attempted to undermine the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. The United States government has been criticized for human rights violations both domestically and overseas, particularly in the criminal justice system and in national security issues. International and US law prohibits torture and other ill-treatment of any person in custody in all circumstances.
However, the United States Government has categorized a large number of people as unlawful combatants, a US classification, which denies the privileges of prisoner of war (POW) designation of the Geneva Conventions.
Certain practices of the United States military and Central Intelligence Agency have been condemned by some sources domestically and internationally as torture. A fierce debate regarding non-standard interrogation techniques exists within the US civilian and military intelligence community, with no general consensus as to what practices under what conditions are acceptable. Abuse of prisoners is considered a crime in the United States Uniform Code of Military Justice, yet Abu Ghuraib prison abuse, enhanced interrogation, torture of Guantanamo inmates; extraordinary rendition, water boarding and now the advent of the kill team in Afghanistan have brought a major stigma upon the US.
The US demurs on signing or ratifying various international human rights accords for fear of the persecution of its armed forces personnel engaged in activities mentioned above. The hard fact is that the US armed forces are suffering from battle fatigue, having been engaged in needless wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, which have taken a toll of 4,765 US military personnel in Iraq, 2,403 in Afghanistan and having slaughtered 1,421,933 Iraqis and over 30,000 Afghanis at a cost of US $ 1,180,653,714,792, was bound to have an adverse effect on the US combatants and turn them into “Kill Teams”.
Rolling Stone talks of US combatants, who for the sheer gory pleasure of killing Afghans, throw sweets and candies out of Stryker vehicles and when hungry and destitute Afghan children rush to pick them up, they are sprayed with bullets.
So far the Pentagon is suppressing these scandals by stating that there are rogue teams in the military, which will be caught, tried and punished. However the malady appears to be much more serious and necessitates close and immediate attention, before even worse human rights abuse scandals emerge.
