Pakistan Army has vehemently rejected the American official reports which alleged that Pakistan Army has no clear strategy for countering terrorism in the country. During a conversation with BBC, a Pakistan Army official said that Pakistan Army has and security agencies have carried out extremely effective and timely crackdowns against TTP terrorists. The official gave examples of Swat and Tribal agency operations where Pakistan Army and security agencies carried out successful operations against the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (which is a CIA-RAW funded outfit of Taliban). On the other hand, Foreign Office has cleared it to United States of Zionism that they better avoid putting the responsibility of their failure in Afghanistan on Pakistan.

Acting Chairman Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority, Dr Abdul Jabbar, has said that Pemra has neither any role in blocking transmission of a private TV channel nor it has the technology to block satellite channel. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, he said that Pemra had not blocked any private channel, adding channels should have rights to air transmission from different stations. He said that allegations of a private TV channel in that regard were baseless. He further said if Pemra had blocked any channel, its logo would not be visible on TV screens. He added that Pemra had no malicious intentions against any channel and it always abided by laws.

The Pakistan Army top brass has warned the United States of Zionism to stop drone attacks in the tribal areas at once as they are “counter-productive”. The message was conveyed in separate Thursday meeting of United States of Zionism Central Command (Centcom) Commander General James N Mattis with Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at the Army House in Rawalpindi and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Khalid Shameem Wynne at Joint Staff Headquarters, Chaklala.
Both sides discussed regional security situation and other matters of professional interest, including the situation in Afghanistan and Pak-USZ bilateral military cooperation, said an ISPR statement.

According to sources, both the high-ups made their assurance that military assistance between both the countries will be further bolstered. The COAS, however, expressed profound reservations on the White House report. Gen Kayani said Pakistan’s security forces have done tremendous job and tackled terrorists with iron hands. General Kayani and General Mattis discussed a number of issues, with Gen Kayani stressing that Pakistan has played a brilliant role in the war against terrorism while its sacrifices and services are hard to be undermined.
Meanwhile, a report said Director General Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt-Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha would visit Washington from April 11. Sources said the purpose of Pasha’s visit is to remove misunderstandings between the ISI and the CIA which appeared on the issue of Raymond Davis. Sources said that General Pasha would also raise the issue of drone attacks in the tribal areas. The DG ISI was invited by his USZ counterpart Leonne Panetta. “The two dignitaries are in constant touch for the restoration of the confidence”, sources added. Gen Mattis’ was the visit of the most senior American since the release of CIA contractor Davis. Lieutenant Colonel Michael Shavers at the USZ Embassy told AFP that Mattis intended “to hear from them (Pakistani Generals) their concerns with regard to the relationship with the USZ military here. He’s going to be in listening mode... that’s the main reason why he’s here”, he said before the meeting. Mattis aims to visit Pakistan every three months and last visited in November, Shavers added. Aside from military operations, more than 4,200 people have been killed across the country since 2007. But a USZ report this week criticised the Pakistani military for failing to forge a clear and sustained path to beat the insurgents.

The Supreme Court on Thursday directed the Balochistan advocate general to get fresh instructions from the provincial chief minister and the chief secretary regarding the Reko Diq project, saying the provincial government had accepted all the conditions of the Zionist BHP Australia for the signing of joint venture agreement and the relaxation of rules. The chief justice remarked that the case is not against the Balochistan Development Authority (BDA) chairman but the government of Balochistan, adding the GoB from the day one had accepted all the conditions of the BHP.

A three-member bench, headed by the Chief Justice, was hearing the case relating to the exploration of gold and copper from the Reko Diq site. Other judges on the bench were Justice Mohammad Sair Ali and Justice Ghulam Rabbani. The chief justice said from the day one all the agreements, contracts and relaxation of rules were signed by the BHP to obtain exploration license for the Reko Diq project. He said the court would decide whether the joint venture agreement and the licenses, both prospecting and exploration, were approved legally or not. The CJP asked the Tethyan Copper Company’s counsel Khalid Anwar that so far the company has failed to submit feasibility report of the project and therefore there was no need to tell the court that the Balochistan government has no money and expertise and the mining lease be awarded to the company.
“We have to examine the case as per rules and the constitution. You must appreciate that we have been hearing the case for the last four months patiently”, Chief Justice said.
TCC’s Khalid Anwar submitted that the BHP Company sold its exploration license for $100 and put a condition on the other company to find out something in six months and then come into an alliance and be a partner in investment and profit. The CJP said:
“After 10 years and according to you after investing millions of dollars, they sell the license only for $100. What you people think, Pakistanis’ are stupid, and will believe all this. In a $100, you cannot get even a nice shirt of Marks and Spencer.”
The TCC lawyer informed the court that under rules 2002, for the first time the prospecting license was converted into an exploration license on May 18, 2002. Advocate General Amanullah Kanrani said that the basic problem regarding the Reko Diq project started due to Atta Mohammad Jaffer, the chairman Balochistan Development Authority (BDA). “Everything happened in the garb of relaxation of rules”, he said. It was at this point that the CJP remarked that the case is not against the BDA but the Balochistan government. However, the AG said that the chief minister had not approved the relaxation of rules.

The bench has been hearing various constitutional petitions filed by Muhammad Tariq Asad, ASC, Maulana Abdul Haque Baloch and around 26 senators including Dr Ismail Buledi, Azam Khan Swati, Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Hafiz Abdur Rasheed and others under Article 184(3) of the Constitution against leasing out of Reko Diq gold and copper mines in Balochistan to foreign exploration and mining companies in alleged violation of the law.

- Apr. 05 – Earlier today, Mujahideen seized a security puppet's vehicle in an attack on a NATO logistical convoy in Shahjoe district while travelling on Kandahar-Herat main highway. 1 puppet was killed in the assault while the rest managed to escape unharmed.
- Apr. 05 – Mujahideen clashed with USZ terrorist invaders when they raided civilian homes in Nawbahar district's Margha Chamber area on Tuesday. The terrorist invaders received deadly losses during a one hour long firefight in which at least 24 terrorist invaders were killed and several more horribly wounded. 3 Mujahideen have been reported as martyred in the battle (May Allah grant them Jannah).

Logar Province:
- Apr. 06 – Reports from Sarkh district say that yesterday, American terrorist invaders blocked all roads in and out of the district and arrested all who came out if their homes or to the district. 176 people were arrested by the savage terrorist invaders in Sarkh bazaar throughout the day from which 126 were imprisoned and the rest released. One of the civilians from the 50 odd released, on condition of anonymity said that the prisoners were being beaten and tortured by the barbaric enemy soldiers who told them that they will not taste life if they don’t give information about the whereabouts of Mujahideen. The eye witness added that the cowardly ANA puppets also took away their money, watches and other valuables. Locals say that those imprisoned are taken to Logar provincial center where they are facing severe beatings and the Americans are not letting anyone intercede on their behalf.
Herat Province:
- Apr. 06 – At least 4 ANA puppets were killed yesterday afternoon when the stooge regimes forces carried out an operation in Basebal and Hazoor villages located near Chist district center. The fighting lasted till dusk time in which a Mujahid was also martyred (may Allah accept his sacrifice) and 2 others were injured.

On Thursday, Israhelli military targeted the premises of Gaza City in north of the coastal sliver, killing several Palestinians and injuring eight others, including a little innocent child, AFP reported. The Israhelli military also injured two more people in a follow-up assault on the Jabaliya refugee camp, situated in the north. Israhelli warplanes pounded the city of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza without leaving any casualties. The Israhelli military claimed that the first attack followed an alleged mortar shell that was launched “from the direction of Gaza”.
