{EOP}Indian Forces Martyr 13 innocent Kashmiris in March

Srinagar, April 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism martyred 13 innocent Kashmiris including a woman in the last month of March.
According to the data released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, these killings rendered 3 women widowed and 13 children orphaned.
During the month, 21 persons were injured when the troops used bullets and teargas shells on peaceful demonstrators while 23 people mostly youth, were arrested. The troops also disgraced one woman and destroyed 5 residential houses during the period.
The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, addressing a gathering at central Jamia Masjid in Srinagar, today, maintained that India should accelerate the process of composite dialogue with Pakistan if it was serious and sincere in resolving all outstanding issues including the lingering Kashmir dispute.
On the other hand, the occupation authorities placed veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, under house arrest, today, to prevent him from addressing a public gathering in Baramulla. He was not even allowed to offer Juma prayers.
The High Court Bar Association of occupied Kashmir, in a statement issued in Srinagar after a meeting of its Executive members, said that the Bar Association would intensify protests if its leaders, Mian Abdul Qayoom and Ghulam Nabi Shaheen were not released immediately.
To observe the 18th martyrdom anniversary of noted Kashmiri physician, Dr Abdul Ahad Guru, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front set up a blood bank at Abiguzar in Srinagar, today. Dr Guru’s services for the liberation movement were lauded on the occasion. The JKLF-R also arranged a function in Rajbagh.
The Executive Director of Kashmir Centre, Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai, has said that the longstanding Kashmir dispute should be resolved according to the relevant UN resolutions. He was addressing a 3-day meet of the Kashmir Centre in Washington.
