NATO jets and drones violate Pakistani Airspace - 745 Kg explosives seized in Quetta


Two NATO fighter jets and a drone on Tuesday seen hovering over Chaman and its suburbs, violating the Pakistani airspace. According to the sources, two NATO fighter jets and an unmanned plane were seen flying over the Afghan bordering area of Chaman and its adjacent areas for about an hour, flouting the Pak territorial limits. Following the flights, the security across the bordering areas was augmented and the authorities concerned were informed about the violation. The NATO violation triggered panic among the residents of these areas who thought that these planes would launch airstrikes in the area.


Meanwhile, Quetta Police Crimes Branch on Tuesday foiled a bid of terrorism on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, seizing 754-kilogramme explosives loaded in a vehicle and arresting two persons. Addressing a hurriedly called press conference, Deputy Inspector General Crimes Branch Muhammad Naheem Kakar disclosed this while addressing a hurriedly called press conference here on Tuesday.
