India, among most depressed nations in the world: WHO Report

Wealthier nations are more depressed than those in relatively poorer ones.
A WHO research has revealed that people living in wealthier nations are more depressed than those in relatively poorer ones.
According to research cited by The Independent, India was recorded to be among the nations with the highest rate of depression in the world at 36% making it an exception to the rule. The booming democracy is going through an unprecedented socio-economic change, which often become the reason for depression.
In France, the Netherlands and America, more than 30% of people suffered from a “major depressive mode” which was far higher than China’s figure of 12%.
The WHO found that  one in seven people in rich countries is likely to get depression over their lifetime which is equivalent to 15%, while one in nine (11%) in middle and low income countries is likely to go through the blues over their lifetime.

Some Aayats & Ahadith about return of Khilafah & End of time

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
“The Prophethood will be among you as long as Allah wills, then he will eliminate it if he so wills. Then a Khilafah on the model of Prophethood will prevail so long as Allah wills, then he will eliminate it if he so wills. Then there will be a biting monarchy as long as Allah wills, then he will eliminate it if he so wills. Then there will be an oppressive monarchy as long as Allah wills, then he will eliminate it if he so wills. Then a Khilafah on the way of Prophethood will prevail and he kept silent.”
It has been reported in Sahih Muslim that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
“..there will be Khulafa’a who will number many”.

ISI from the inside

Written by: By Lt. General Asad Durrani
Lt. Gen. Asad Durrani (Former Chief of ISI)
When Smashing Lists, a relatively unknown website, declared Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence, the ISI, the best of its kind, it gladdened my heart but also had me worried. Soon after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, I met an old colleague, a Special Forces officer recently inducted in the ISI. He whispered in my ears: “we have decided to support the Afghan resistance”. Understandably. With the “archenemy” India in the East and now not a very friendly Soviet Union on our Western borders, Pakistan had fallen between “nutcrackers”. We therefore had to take our chances to rollback the occupation; but did we have any against a ‘superpower’, and the only one in the region at that? Soon after the Soviet withdrawal, as the Director General of Military Intelligence, I was assigned to a team constituted to review Pakistan’s Afghan Policy. That, followed by a stint in the ISI, provided the answer.

The Afghan tradition of resisting foreign invaders was indeed the sine qua non for this gamble to succeed. American support took two years in coming but when it arrived, USZ support was one of the decisive factors. The ISI’s role - essentially logistical in that it channelled all aid and helped organise the resistance - turned out to be pivotal. In the process, from a small time player that undertook to punch above its weight, rubbing shoulders with the best in the game, the Americans, catapulted the Agency into the big league. Unsurprisingly, the ISI became a matter of great concern not only for its foes. Cooperation amongst secret services, even within the country, is not the norm. It took a 9/11 for the USZ to create a halfway-coordinating mechanism. Between the CIA and the ISI, however, communication and coordination worked out well as long as the Soviets were in Afghanistan. The shared objective - defeat of the occupation forces - was one reason; respect for each other’s turf, the more important other.

Norway Premier “Begged” Putin To Stop Massacre Planned By Zionist "Elites"

A startling Federal Security Service (FSB) report on the 22 July massacre in Norway states that two-days prior to this catastrophic attack Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg [photo top left with Putin] placed an “urgent” call to Putin “begging” Russia’s leader to help stop the events that left nearly 100 innocent civilians dead.

Norway Premier with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin
According to the FSB, Stoltenberg first learned of this plot against his country this past Wednesday after reading a “top secret” report prepared for him by the Norwegian Intelligence Service (NIS) on the late March computer attack against Norway’s top military leaders that showed them involved in a conspiracy with Britain’s MI5 Security Service and the United States of Zionism Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to launch a “two-phase” attack upon Norway modeled after false-flag operations in both Australia and America in the mid-nineties.

New York Times Caught Red Handed spreading CIA propaganda on Norway Carnage

An American investigative blogger uncovers how the New York Times tried to link the Norway attack to a Muslim group that doesn’t exist and then how it quietly pulled the story later from its online edition, without offering an apology. Alexander Higgins, also uncovers how two other news outlets, one American and the other British, continued to demonize Muslims hours after a Christian extremist was arrested.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—In the first few hours after a Christian terrorist killed tens of Norwegians, the New York Times published a report claiming an unknown Muslim group, Ansar al-Jihad al-Aalami [Supporters of Global Jihad] has claimed responsibility for the attack. Within a couple of hours of the attack, an online report warned that CIA and its broadsheets in the USZ media will exploit the attack to garner European support for the failing Afghan war.

This is exactly what many CIA-affiliated websites and ‘translation companies’ have been doing for the past decade, translating claims of responsibility after every terrorist attack anywhere in the world. As expected, the New York Times published this claim quoting an unknown American analyst who said he saw the claim of responsibility on a website in Arabic and that he translated it into English. The truth is that an ordinary discussion forum in Arabic, like millions of similar online forums, published what appears to be a celebratory note on the Norway attack arguing the attack was punishment for all the wrong done in Libya and Afghanistan, the two wars where Norway is a participant by default because of its NATO membership.

India Signs Nuclear Deal With South Korea

NEW DELHI: India and South Korea signed a civil nuclear agreement on Monday, a deal that gives the north-east Asian country an entry into India's nuclear energy sector. The deal, India's ninth, was signed by President Pratibha Patil in Seoul with South Korean President Lee Myung Bak. President Lee termed the nuclear cooperation agreement as "historic" and which would act as "a milestone, demonstrating that our two countries have now truly become strategic partners".

Negotiated over three rounds, the last in December, the India-South Korea agreement carried the least amount of historical nuclear "baggage" as far as India is concerned. Officials involved in the negotiations described them as "clear, pragmatic and smooth". Both sides held some extra informal meetings on the deal this year and the Indian side was impressed with the proactive approach of the South Koreans in this sector.

Mossad Accused Of Killing Iranian Nuclear Physicist In Tehran

A leading Iranian nuclear physicist has been shot dead near his home in Tehran, according to Iranian media reports.

The Iranian Students News Agency (Isna) identified him as Daryoush Rezaei, 45, and also noted that his wife was wounded in the attack. Other reports he was shot at by gunman riding a motorcycle, but this has not been independently confirmed.

"The investigation to identify the motorcyclists involved in the assassination has begun," the Mehr news agency quoted a police official as saying, adding that Rezai's wife was taken to hospital.

Isna said Rezaei was connected to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, a body that supervises the country's complex of nuclear installations, including uranium enrichment facilities.

Jamaat Ud Daawa Chief: India Behind Mumbai Attacks

Dr. Jassim Taqui | Pakistan Observer
Islamabad: Speaking his mind after a long period of silence, Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD) chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed disclosed that JuD was falsely implicated in the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
Saeed, the founder of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) blamed India for masterminding the attack in a bid to malign Pakistan and justify military action against it. He went on saying, that there was a secret agreement between India and Israel to “destroy Pakistan’s nuclear assets”.
Saeed also criticized the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and said it had set up offices across Pakistan.

“The CIA had established offices in every city of Pakistan from where they send reports to the US,” he said.

During the past week, Saeed visited Bahawalpur and Multan districts of Punjab to address public meetings and meet JuD activists.

Zionist Israel Used An Imposter And A Belly-Dancer To Counteract Flotilla II

Dr. Ashraf Ezzat | Intifada Palestine

“Though the gay activist and the bellydancer stunts proved to be a total failure but they brought to light the duplicity of the Jewish state and how presumptuously Israel played the world for a bunch of fools”
Though Israel has managed to abort the planned course of the Freedom Flotilla II that was aiming to break the Israeli naval blockade on Gaza, it utterly failed to divert the attention of the international community from the inhumane Israeli siege on Palestinians imprisoned in their own homeland.

Israel, US To Hold Massive Missile Drill Next Year

Israel and the United States are going to carry out massive joint missile drills in the Negev desert next year as the allies up their military cooperation.
The military maneuvers, codenamed Juniper Cobra, will be held in early 2012 and will include the Arrow 2 and Iron Dome missile systems as well as the THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) and the ship-based Aegis ballistic missile system. The exercise will likely include the actual launch of interceptors from these systems, The Jerusalem Post reported on Tuesday.
"Juniper Cobra shows us how to defend not only with Israeli assets but also with American assets," Arieh Herzog, head of Israeli Defense Ministry's Homa Missile Defense Agency, said on Monday at the second Annual Israel Multinational Missile Defense Conference near Tel Aviv.

The Israeli Air Force's Air Defense Division, the United States Missile Defense Agency and the US Military's European Command (EUCOM) have held the Juniper Cobra exercise for the past five years. The last Juniper Cobra exercise was held in October 2009.

Muslim Ummah's Pride Pakistan Army - A Force To Be Reckoned With

The situation today has made it clear of who stands on which side, deciding to support which agenda in political, economic and military aspects of our nation. People living in or out of Pakistan have been criticizing the Army And ISI; the two pillars on which Pakistan is standing after all the indignant acts of our politicians, the people purchased by them and our innumerable enemies who have disguised themselves in order to infiltrate between us to weaken our vision of optimistically working for the prosperity of Pakistan and introducing the rightful system of caliphate. The media is doing the best it can to literally murder our ideology but it's only the weak who get deviated. By the grace of Allah we have been blessed with one of the finest armies in the world who continue to have an incredible performance today and throughout history even when outnumbered.

Pakistan Army maintained division and brigade strength presences in some of the Arab countries during the past Arab-Israhelli Wars, and aided the Coalition in the first Gulf War. Other major operations undertaken by the Army include Operation Black Thunderstorm and Operation Rah-e-Nijat. Apart from conflicts, the Army has been an active participant in UN missions and played a major role in rescuing trapped American soldiers from Mogadishu, Somalia in 1993 in Operation Gothic Serpent.

Kashmir War in 1948 convinced India that Pakistan is certainly not an easy target. The Indian Cabinet in New Delhi had decided to destroy and undo Pakistan by economic and military means which resulted in a full-scale war. On August 1948, the first anniversary of Pakistan, General Headquarters sent the following message to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah: " Loyal and grateful greetings from the Army on the first anniversary of Pakistan. We serve and shall serve Pakistan with all our hearts and souls. Pakistan and its Creator  Zindabad."  On  14th December India was taken by surprise in a pre-attack artillery bombardment the Beri Pattan bridge area containing ammunition, rations, petrol and supplies in a two-mile area was totally destroyed together with Indian divisional Headquarter, isolating the Indian forces in that sector.

NWA: Commandar Hafiz Gul Bahadur joins Pakistan Army against TTP Terrorists

North Waziristan: One of the most powerful militant commanders of North Waziristan Hafiz Gul Bahadur has announced his complete support for Pakistan Army.

According to reports, Hafiz Gul Bahadur warned Hakeemullah Mehsood and other foreigner militants who have been involved in anti-Pakistan activities, to leave the area at once. Reports add that after this warning, Hakeemullah Mehsud has shifted his network from North Waziristan to Orakzai Agency whereas Commander Hafiz Gul Bahadur has strictly prohibited his followers to not attack Security Forces under any circumstances.

This is a great success for Pakistan as a whole that finally the pro-Pakistan elements in this region have been able to identify their true enemy and Pakistan Army's support in the area is reportedly increasing day by day.

Norway carnage puts USZ extremists in spotlight

The man accused of the killing spree in Norway was deeply influenced by anti-Muslim bloggers and right-wing activists in the United States of Zionism, lacing his 1,500-page manifesto with quotations from them, The New York Times reported Monday. In the document he posted online, Anders Behring Breivik, who is accused of bombing government buildings and killing scores of young people at a Labour Party camp, showed that he had closely followed the acrimonious American debate over Islam, the newspaper citing the document said. His manifesto, which denounced Norwegian politicians as failing to defend the country from Islamic influence, quoted Robert Spencer, who operates the Jihad Watch Web site, 64 times, and cited other Western writers who shared his view that Muslim immigrants pose a grave danger to Western culture.

CIA terrorists spread their tentacles in South Punjab

The Americans have increased their contacts with local influential figures in South Punjab to establish a network of their secret service operatives there, informed sources have revealed. The renewed efforts at extension of their clandestine operations through setting up bases of CIA’s cobra operatives in the region where demands for autonomy fuelled by rising sense of deprivation have increased in recent months – come after Pakistan refused permission to the USZ to establish its consulate in Multan. And now the Americans are using the diplomatic facade to secure niches for their spies and hitmen in and around Multan, following their agenda of weakening Pakistan.

India Nervous over Pak-China Alliance

While US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been visiting India this week, US ties with Pakistan have taken a new, downward twist with the decision by the US Justice Department to charge two men with being in the pay of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence.
The last few months have been tumultuous for US-Pakistan relations, with the recent haltingof $800 million* in military aid marking a new low. And, as Pakistan looks for support elsewhere, it seems inevitable that China will be waiting in the wings to capitalise on the spat. All this raises the question of how Clinton’s hosts will cope with the China-Pakistan alliance at a time when Nepal, Burma, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are all already being slowly drawn into China’s orbit.

120 confirmed killed in Russian ship sink

The confirmed death toll from the sunken cruise vessel Bulgaria has risen to 120 people, after the divers discovered one more body on the riverboat, the Emergencies Ministry said on Sunday. "Another body has been discovered. Therefore, the confirmed death toll has risen to 120", the ministry said. The twin-deck riverboat Bulgaria capsized and sank on the Volga River on July 10.

There were 201 people aboard the riverboat. As many as 79 people were rescued. The fate of two people is yet unknown. The ship was delivered to shallow waters late on Saturday, allowing the divers to continue their search for missing persons. Rescuers are expected to finish their work on Sunday to seal the riverboat and pump out water and transfer the cruise ship to the Investigative Committee for investigation.

America, a nation of psychotics

Has America become a nation of psychotics? You would certainly think so, based on the explosion in the use of antipsychotic medications. In 2008, with over $14 billion in sales, antipsychotics became the single top-selling therapeutic class of prescription drugs in the United States, surpassing drugs used to treat high cholesterol and acid reflux. Once upon a time, antipsychotics were reserved for a relatively small number of patients with hard-core psychiatric diagnoses – primarily schizophrenia and bipolar disorder – to treat such symptoms as delusions, hallucinations, or formal thought disorder. Today, it seems, everyone is taking antipsychotics. Parents are told that their unruly kids are in fact bipolar, and in need of anti-psychotics, while old people with dementia are dosed, in large numbers, with drugs once reserved largely for schizophrenics. Americans with symptoms ranging from chronic depression to anxiety to insomnia are now being prescribed anti-psychotics at rates that seem to indicate a national mass psychosis.
It is anything but a coincidence that the explosion in antipsychotic use coincides with the pharmaceutical industry’s development of a new class of medications known as “atypical antipsychotics”. Beginning with Zyprexa, Risperdal, and Seroquel in the 1990s, followed by Abilify in the early 2000s, these drugs were touted as being more effective than older antipsychotics like Haldol and Thorazine. More importantly, they lacked the most noxious side effects of the older drugs – in particular, the tremors and other motor control problems. The atypical anti-psychotics were the bright new stars in the pharmaceutical industry’s roster of psychotropic drugs – costly, patented medications that made people feel and behave better without any shaking or drooling. Sales grew steadily, until by 2009 Seroquel and Abilify numbered fifth and sixth in annual drug sales, and prescriptions written for the top three atypical antipsychotics totaled more than 20 million.  Suddenly, antipsychotics weren’t just for psychotics any more.
Not just for psychotics anymore

Erdogan to Israhell – “Apologise for flotilla deaths or I go to Gaza”

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan
In announcing his intention to visit the Gaza Strip, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish prime minister, has raised the stakes in an ongoing crisis with Israhell, observers say. Quoting unnamed foreign ministry sources in Ankara, the Turkish daily Radikal reported yesterday that Turkish diplomats had told their Israhelli counterparts they expected an Israhelli apology for the death of nine Turkish activists during a raid on a flotilla of ships carrying aid for Gaza last year by July 27. That day, a panel of the United Nations is expected to publish its report on the Israhelli raid. In case Israhell does not issue an apology before that date, Turkish-Israhelli relations could sink even deeper into crisis, Radikal said. “If Israhell apologises, [Mr Erdogan's] Gaza trip will not take place”, the paper reported. There was no official comment on the newspaper story.

Turkey to double size of its army

With Prime Minister Erdogan’s Islamist AK party having seized its third landslide election victory in Turkey, many throughout the international community have been watching to see what will be next on the Turkish agenda. Now there are strong indicators in the Turkish media that Turkey is planning on literally doubling the size of its army – this coming from the nation that already has the largest army in Middle East and the second-largest army in NATO, second only to the United States. Presently, Turkey’s army has over 500,000 troops. Its army is larger than France, Germany and England combined. And now Turkish media are reporting that they are planning on adding another 500,000 paid soldiers.
According to Egemen Bağış, a state minister and Turkey’s chief EU negotiator, the purpose of the army is to kill two birds with one stone, overcoming two of Turkey’s biggest challenges: terrorism and unemployment. This move would create half a million new jobs for Turkey while answering once and for all Turkey’s problem with Kurdish separatist terrorists in the southeast. Bağış spoke to journalists at the Turkish ambassador’s office in Brussels. “The government is prepared to hire 500,000 people. … This structural change will also contribute to our struggle with unemployment”, he said. Iranian nuclear scientist killed in Tehran, by whom?

According to the most recent reports arriving from Tehran, a leading Iranian nuclear scientist has been assassinated on Saturday, Iran's student news agency ISNA reported without giving his name."An Iranian nuclear scientist was assassinated in front of his house today ... and his wife was also wounded," it said. No other details were immediately available. Iran's semi-official Mehr news agency, quoting an unnamed police source, said police were investigating the assassination which took place in an eastern Tehran area.
Iran has been long pressed for its peaceful nuclear program by the "International Community of Humanitarian Terrorists" who howl their rhetoric of "Anti-Semitism" against the Islamic Republic while at the same time, Iran has shot down 3 USZ-Israhelli spy drones near its Nuclear facilities. The most recent drone spying on the Iranian Nuclear facilities was shot down by the Revolutionary guards on Tuesday, 19th July 2011.Earlier in the day, Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast had said that the country is installing a new generation of uranium enrichment centrifuges in the country's nuclear facilities to enhance the Islamic Republic's peaceful nuclear program.

Uttar Pradesh - “Worst place to be a Woman”

A spate of exceptionally brutal rapes in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh has shocked India. Many of the victims were young girls. The BBC’s Geeta Pandey reports from Lucknow. For Sarika, 16, it was like any other day when she went out to the fields for her evening ablutions with her friend Chhaya. It was a cold February evening and it was pitch dark. “I was feeling a little scared so I wanted to get back quickly,” she tells me. On the way back, she says, she was attacked by Shivam and three other men from the village. “Shivam grabbed my hand and asked me to marry him. I said: ‘No, how can I marry you? We live in the same village, you are like my brother.’ I kicked him and tried to run away. “With the help of his friends, he dragged me to a secluded area and began to assault me with knives and axes. I was conscious for some time, but once they cut me on my head and neck, I fainted. When I became conscious, I was in hospital.”

The poor victim girl Sarika
Sarika shows me her injuries - a fist-size wound on her scalp, her jaw which has been sewn together, her right hand which had to be re-attached, her right earlobe from where big chunks are missing, and long scars on her arms. Shivam has been arrested, but the others are still free. One told the BBC he had been wrongly accused.

A terrified Sarika and her family have abandoned their home and land in Fatehpur district’s Udrauli village to stay with relatives in another village nearly 45km (30 miles) away. The assault on Sarika is one among the hundreds of rapes and attempted rapes this year in the state. “It’s a very difficult situation here,” says Roop Rekha Verma of Sajhi Duniya (Shared World), a Lucknow-based organisation which works with women. “There is a lot of violence: Crimes are escalating; gender problems are increasing; girls are being attacked, both in rural and urban areas,” she says.

Caliphate:The System Of Peace `No Dictatorship,No Democracy`

Engr. Sharique Naeem
Lahore, Pakistan
With the Arab spring in full flow, it is becoming clearer that many players are competing for the space created by the overthrow of some rulers in the Middle East. Whilst the masses braved the brutal crackdown on the streets to end the architecture of client rulers, foreign interference and foreign dependency constructed by the Western colonial powers, the West continues to call the Arab spring as a call for democracy, Western values and more Western involvement. The decades of oppression by the dictatorial rulers has led to some confusion on where Capitalism ends and where Islam begins.

India:Hell For Nuclear Scientists~Are Indian Nuclear Assets Safe?~

According to media reports Mahalingam went on morning jogging and got disappeared. As per his family members, he did not carry money or his cell phone with him and went for walk whereas the security guards on duty said that they didn’t see him leaving the campus. It is worth mentioning here that he also disappeared 10 years back when he was working at the Kalpakkam Atomic Station. On his return, after five days, Mahalingam expressed that he had gone to seek spiritual consolation.

A DNA test was performed just to ascertain the identity of the dead body. But that also raised the question: why was he cremated in such a hurry even before the results of the DNA test and the post-mortem report? The presence or absence of air in his lungs, any signs of torture on his body and the level of decomposition could have pointed to the circumstances in which he met his final end.

BJP Imposing Hindu Ideology on Muslims, Christians in Indian Schools

Bangalore A four-year-old effort to teach Bhagavad Gita to students in primary and higher secondary schools in Karnataka has courted controversy on its final lap with several groups opposing a January 2011 order of the BJP government launching the programme in Kolar district. And the matter has been compounded by a remark by Education Minister Vishveshwar Kaggeri that people must “leave the country, if they do not respect the Bhagavad Gita”.
Kaggeri made the remarks on July 14 at a meeting in Kolar where the programme has reached after covering 26 districts in the state. Kaggeri has said the programme is not compulsory for all students, as it is in Madhya Pradesh. “Our circular only says that the programme is good and schools can cooperate. We are not funding it in any way,’’ he said.
